Prom Night 3 was made by the same people as the 2nd... and couldn't feel any further from that being the case. phelous.com / phelous Originally Released: May 20, 2014
You know my biggest problem with this movie? Ice Cream Cones wouldn't do that. All she should've accomplished was pricking him slightly and getting chocolate and vanilla all over his hands. Mary Lou: Oh, that was supposed to impale you. Teacher: Okay spontaneously creating an ice cream parlor in my classroom and trying to kill me is one thing, but picking a really bad choice of murder weapon? I'm sorry, but I can't abide that. You're coming with me to the principal's office young lady!
you know the only one Mary lou should have beef with is her date that set her on fire. I mean the others were probably too stunned to do anything but she decides to take revenge on people that didn't catch her on fire and not the guy who actually killed her.
That's what I'm saying and she got revenge but she's back and she wants to date some kid what the f*** and they literally don't even explain what happened in the second movie like it never existed
@@juggalogamer8541The reason they don't bother to explain continuity between 2 and 3 is because part 2 was a B movie Freddy rip off. The 3rd one fully embraces the camp factor as goes more for fun schlock value. Same reason series like the Leprechaun don't care about continuity there just treated as low budget B movies not meant to take seriously and the people working on them didn't really care.
KingoftheGundam79 I'll give you that, though a lot of nice guys in harem anime ... how do I say it... they lack ambition/ They may be nice, but don't rely on them to build a bridge or escape from a dangerous situation. There are exceptions, I concede, but they're scarce
You know what's more hilarious. Ron Oliver got hired for Are you afraid of the Dark? because of his ability to make horror stories on a low budget after this.
any plans to do prom night four deliver us from evil? that film tried to go back to the original slasher roots but it got butchered in editing for tv airings and even today only the tv version is avalible
These Prom Night 3 reviews are some of my favourite internet content of all time haha... still come back to watch them periodically. All your jokes were top tier in these ones, Phelous! :)
I wish he hadn't abandoned his movie reviews 🙁🐢 Now he just does weird animated knockoff reviews and bootleg toy reviews. Which is fine i just wish he would review movies, too I know you at least glance at these Phelan 👀
what if this movie is a prequel to Prom Night 2?Set between Mary Loo's death and the events of that film. This way, her imprisonment in Hell makes a little more sense, and the suitcase shown to close and open in the first changes role. If this is set between it being closed and then opened in the events of PN2, then the suitcase is a kind of container. Mary Loo had to kill Alex in order to be able to flee, explaining why the first one had the prom queen crown inside it. With Alex dead, the next opportunity was enough to escape, and she changed her game plan from escaping Hell into getting a physical body. This doesn't make up for the odd tone of the movie, but it does fix many plot holes towards her actions and the continuity. Also, the "unexplained fire that destroyed this very gymnasium" would then refer to Mary Loo's death. Yeah it's stretching, but you have to admit it works!
Well that can't really be a prequel now because they kind of f***** it up at the beginning when they blew up the tombstone it's like so they put it back together the exact same way plus then they would have talked about this in the second one of her coming back that would make the second one part 3 so they really kind of f*** that up
I actually would love a movie to make a joke about a skinny guy eating a lot, especialy since I knew a guy who could eat 2 hamburgers in less than an hour, never get fat and be skinnier than me
Well, there is the Disney adaptation of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Ichabod Crane in that one was eating like Garfield, but stayed as skinny as Olive Oyl the whole way through.
Even despite the amount of research and effort he puts into his videos, Phelous still isn't immune to misunderstanding little bits of dialogue now and then.
Prom Night 2 was actually good. I wanted to like Last Kiss but..complete mess. Good review . Between his Bromance and fucking a ghost, Alex has a lot going on.
Given the previous movie, my initial thought was an anthology series like what John Carpenter tried to do with Halloween III. Would have made sense given the ties between Halloween and Prom Night, but after seeing this..............................
ya' know this title 'the last kiss' makes me think that this movie should be more like a classical romance than a horror, I can really see it that way and how interesting that movie could be. Oh well onto shit for us :{D
Eh, those scissors would make you're job on MMZ/Bootleg Zone at lot easier. No twist tie or plastic packaging could withstand blades that can cut through BONE!
I wonder if he knows there is a fourth movie. Either way I’d love to see another Prom Night review hopefully soon. Mostly just to hear that jam of a song again
when Alex was talking on the phone i through His mum and dad was Charley Brown's teacher from Peanuts (snoopy) nice putting the peanuts music on that scene Phelous
10.00 Damn, Phaelous! That's an awesome French/bilingual version of one of the best 3D board games, this side of "Hotels" Is that yours from when you were a kid? I had the same one, living in Quebec. Man, we loved that game. There were tons of pieces though. Is yours complete? You should do a vid on it, unless you did one and I missed it. I've been going to Flea Markets and garage sales for over 10 years and I've never seen one for sale!! Thanks for all the great nostalgia. In general. It really is like a time machine, seeing items and films from days gone by :) Cheers from Montreal.
Hola me llamo Rangel Adrián Beltrán cortés y quisiera saber si vive courtney taylor quien interpretó a mary lou maloney en noche de graduación 3 prom night 3 the last kiss soy mexicano gracias
An odd difference...the version of this film I have has Mary Lou saying "You have a bad..." then stabbing with the ice cream cones, _then_ finishing with "...attitude". And it's not like it's some odd censorious cut, its a completely different take. 🤔
Call me a weirdo, but I actually remember having liked "The Last Kiss". Guess I just have a soft spot of overly campy wannabe horror comedies from the 80's.
It was like two different directors when I watch the third one I'm thinking what the f*** is this I just completely went left field I mean the second one was actually pretty decent although it's completely different from the first prom night instead of a slasher we go to evil spirit but this they don't even explain what happened to the dad that got possessed from the second one or the girl or her boyfriend at just like a whole new story ignoring the second one how is she back blah blah blah blah blah it's like what the fuck
Apparently Ron Oliver wanted this one to be a spoof of the previous ones. He didn’t really agree with it being called what it was since it isn’t meant to be a serious sequel to the second one. It’s still a terrible spoof, but that’s the reason it turned out how it did. Also, I love how offended Phelan was by that mediocre “La Bamba” rendition 😂.
