There are absolutely loads of pronunciation rules in English. In reality, it’s impossible to remember all of the rules, so should you even bother trying?
I think you should be able to leave the rule book at home, but, there are some features that are so common and so important that we can’t ignore them.

An excellent video about pronunciation in English. I teach English in Madrid, so these type of tips are exactly what I give my students to help them improve on their pronunciation. It also helps their listening skills, because they are better able to distinguish these aspects in the language. Your example sounds of the schwa are great. I usually ask my students to think about the first sound that comes out of their mouth when they wake up in the morning after a hard night out...eh, ugh, uff - no matter what the language is, the morning grunt is normally fronted by the schwa sound...😂😂

Gracias por seguir mis videos. Sé que ese sonido es bastante difícil para los que hablan español. Sería la diferencia entre bin y been, cierto? Buena idea para un video, gracias 🙂

@@englishwithmrd Mate i just blown away by your accent. Unlike many RU-vid teachers who claim to have an RP accent, your accent is truly top-notch. I couldn't tell the difference between Cockney and Scouser accents, and the fact that you don't use the 'kh' sound caught my attention, so I thought you might have a Cockney accent.
