Hi Neso Academy, In the 2nd video of this series, you taught that DTS time signals are plotted against n, not t. And also the way DTS is denoted is different from CTS (square brackets instead of parentheses). In this video you referred the DTS as DTS value and wrote it in CTS notation. Could you please explain? Also, for an even CTS, x(t) = x(-t). This means that x(t) and x(-t) overlap with each other (they are the same) even after performing the Time Reversal. But the DC function in this example does not overlap with its original version x(t) after performing the time reversal, because you said in the beginning that x(t) is defined when t>0. How did you conclude that the signal is even in this situation?

In first presentations you said : " signal is a wave form that should change in time" bu in this presentation you mentioned that dc is a signal... Is it or not?

dc is indicating a signal if we mention that dc is constant by time. for example; "f(t)=5 Volt for all t=real numbers" this dc signal is a signal. but if I mention only 5 Volts, it's not indicate a signal. If we mention time, it is a signal.

You can have a fluctuating DC signal. It's only AC if it changes direction, meaning the voltage in a graph becomes negative.

integration( t*2) = t^3 / 3 + c ... ie some sort of odd+even(constant is dc right?) so ...NENO ?? where i am wrong ?

You need to take a time interval, and also have to put the limits, can't do indefinite integration here, cuz constant can be anything, not necessarily it has to be a DC Value.

in the 9th case integration of even signal equal to odd plus dc value ((t^5)/5 + c). Yoy said that this is an odd signal but in the 3th case ( for 10+ t^3 ) we said it's neither odd nor even signal. These signals look same (odd+constant) . Could sb. explain this difference?

in the previous lecture 15, you stated that dc value of odd sig is 0, in this lecture you are saying dc as even sig?

Because even we consider the constant which is an even signal, in case of adding it to odd signal we get odd signal only and when adding this even dc signal to even we get even signal since both are even

Based on what you say around 6:30 AND in digital electronics video series(video 2- what is signal, at 6::23) , i deduct(!) that at 2:30 your statement "dc value--> is an even signal" is wrong. Please respond.

As told in the video that E+O is neither odd nor even ....but all signals are the addition of Odd and Even component.....can anyone please explain this?

A general signal is not even or odd. So the general signal which is a sum of odd and even components is not odd or even, which is consistent with the property

the videos has proved that (even + odd) = (not even or odd signal). Also even + even = even. What about odd + odd?? *What is odd + odd = ?* Undefined? Maybe even( example 1+3 = 4)? I suspect that it is odd. I tested it by using x(t) = t^3 + t^5. I ended up finding it to be odd.

OddxOdd function is not equal to an even function. Take for example sin(x)*sin(x)=sin^2(x), this is always an odd function even when sin(x) is also odd.

Stop teaching wrong concepts. Integration of Odd and even signals cannot be generalized. Ex - impluse signal is an even signal but the integration of impulse is unit step, which is neither odd nor even.
