TAKE THE CARBON FIBER COVER OFF THE STEERING WHEEL!!! It looks good but if your airbag ever goes off, that plate is shooting at your face and killing you. the rest of your carbon fiber on the wheel can stay, just take the thing off the airbag. otherwise great video bro
I used to feel this way working so far away (55-65) minutes. I recently upgraded my GT to RT. Somehow I feel like i pump the same or even less 😂 granted i have to use 89.
How do you put on that RT badge on the front grill ? It’s nice. I’ve kept my engine cover on thinking it protects it but looks like I don’t actually need it on lol
I have a ‘22 Charger RT and the gas mileage around town is pretty bad, 11-13. But I recently took it on a short trip and it got 28.6 MPG. Not too bad for a V8!
Yo bro to remove that active exhaust squeak after the startup take some WD 40 and spray the two active exhaust valves. There’s some videos on the fix. That sound drove me crazy for weeks.
@@Superduperreign since the RTs come stock with a 2.62 open differential, the open differential makes the rear wheels spin independently which is y some RTs that do burnouts are only spinning one wheel, in result That will slow down your take offs drastically. But the 3.09 limited slip differential that comes on scats and hellcats has higher gearing which will increase your launches,60ft, 1/4 mile times, roll racing all that. With it being a limited slip diff, that means both wheel will spin together which is this biggest plus when it comes down to take off and roll racing, also helps you do really smooth doughnuts since both wheels are constantly spinning together
I have a 392 Daytona. I get 18 city and 25 highway (per the cars dash) which is exactly what the V6 says it gets as well. So what’s the point of getting a V6 for commute if the V8 can get the same mileage
@@Coonazz791 most of the V8s are the MDS motors which shut down 4 cylinders when you’re cruising. I’ve not taking long roadtrips but I did take a 150 mile trip and averaged low 30s with a 6.4 MDS
I’m abt to pull the trigger on a 2022 rt but I’m hearing all types of stuff about the tires and tail spinning in the rain from stock tires. What size and brand did you go with and did you get all seasons?
I believe that this can be better than a scat because you can add more power to this car than the scat pack simply because of the fact that it has a smaller engine. And the 5.7 is way more reliable and maintenance is cheaper. Yall beed to stop sleeping in the 5.7’s
It’s not better than the scat. If you wanted to make it as fast as a scat you’d be putting way to much money to add that kind of horse power that you might as well get a scat. Can’t compare a 392 to a RT
Bro quick question, how do you deal with the constant threat of someone wanting to steal your car? I wanna get a 17 r/t but I’ve been thinking about that lately
Front Hood lock , ANTI -theft wheel bolts and steering wheel lock and GPS OR KILL SWITCH nd get your Catalytic converter sprayed /tag or protection plate
Great video but I never understand when everybody says these cars takes up a lot of gas, I had a SXT Charger couples months ago n now I got a 2020 5.7 pursuit and it’s like a 3 dollar difference for gas n it lasts me for almost a week before filling up again
The gas being that bad is cap. I remember you saying you put 87 in your , if your doing that then yes you will be at the g station every 2 days. Your suppose to put 89 in and it also depends on how much driving your doing I’m not gonna lie I only drive on weekends taking a trip 45 min there and back on a tank I filled Monday up to the weekend and by that point I’m either at half or below it. So I’m lasting either a week and a half or a full week on one tank.
I test drove a both a Charger and Challenger R/T and honestly it was like driving a bathtub full of water. It made me appreciate the 2012 G37S sedan I was considering trading for one. BTW, the G was faster, cornered better, and had better mpg. I don't see why people like these rolling garbage cans.
Because they like muscle cars. These are the only muscle cars left. These aren’t made for cornering, never have been. You’re comparing a muscle car to a regular sedan. Maybe learn about cars before calling things crap.
I got a 18 Camry le chargers have always had my heart man but I’m 30 married with 2 daughters haha live it up young fella def can get a hellcat keep working 💯
@@poopdeckpete there’s one second difference between the 5.7 and the 3.6 0-60 and quarter mile 😂 unless you are going to mod you better off getting a gt
Clearly dis man don’t know his cars lol dis man got a scat pack charge clearly say 392 on da side dats not a rt bro rt got 160 on da dash scats got 180 lol
Yes In DEED PPL you have to be rich RICH RICH to afford a Muscle Car !you will be blowing 80$ extra a week just going to Walmart! Or it will waste HALF A TANK just driving to work 🦾🚂
