I've also found that it's best to use cables with 0 ferrite beads (the cylinder things attached to the wire), sometimes they make it not work in my experience
@@davidgafo you shouldn't have to download any drivers. You might have to show hidden devices from the view tab on device manager and update the drivers.

I am getting no HID compliant game controller on my screen under human interface devices. what should i do? i am getting hid compliant consumer controll device. is that it?
for me there's no "HID-complaint game controller" option. does anyone know what this could possibly mean? it was there before when I had the driver error problem las time, but when i got it again this option isn't there. Edit : turns out i had a dif problem. if youre in the same situation as me just reset your pc. took me awhile to figure out lmfao
Hey I need help badly, when I'm in game my l2 botton goes off every 3 seconds with out any actions on the remote, this happens with multiple remotes. I have reset windows, reset my controllers, re downloaded driver's and nothing work's. Any help is much much appreciated.
Hi, do u have a ps4? If u do maybe you can try ur controllers to see if they work there. This would mean there's an issue and that it's a problem in the software, if it doesn't work either then that would mean that something is wrong with ur controllers
All of my HID-compliant game controllers say they are working properly, yet I still have a driver error. Can anybody here tell me what's wrong on my end?

Hey! So it fixed the error message but it still won't pop up on DS4Windows or even normally in the game, any help? there's no more errors, i've tried to update driver but says latest driver already installed, i tried to put it in a different USB slot and still the same thing

Code 10 usually means that u need to update ur driver. U can do this by right clicking ur controller on device manager and click update driver. First try the first option that tries to search for the latest drivers. If that doesnt work click the 2nd option and click let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer. Choose the one with the corresponding name or try each one. Mind u that u will hv to restart ur computer after updating the driver for them to take effect. If it doesn't work just click on roll back driver to be safe. If all of them doesn't work uninstall the device and once u restart it it shld reinstall ur controller. Hope it works, if it doesn't just reply!
Hi if it is working properly, you might want to check if other functions of your controller are working property. To do this, go to the control panel tab in the video->right click the controller->properties->hardware and under there there should be a list of functions. Just check if any of them are disabled.
In control panel->view devices and printers, right click the controller and properties. There click on hardware and double click each function to check if they are working.
