Lol I was just gonna say that... Cinematics 1000% good, but when the game started... ITs like meh... Considering GPU prices are sky high these days, I'm expecting noone to buy them at those prices...
I was just thinking the same thing. Whilst the gameplay now vs. ever before is of course impressive and brilliant... I mean, I haven't gamed properly since PS2. I was avid back then and grew up on Nintendos, SNES, PS1, Dreamcast + PS2 and I go over my friend's house and see the ps4 and am blown away, because I've been out of it for a long time... And... I'm gonna get a PS5 very soon and jump back in, but, as impressed as I am on the one hand with the developments / on the other hand... I actually would have expected we'd be further along by now vs. 20 odd years ago. Clearly the rate of improvement is slowing down; all the talk of exponential technological improvement... am sure, for some things, but it's clearly not the case with graphics in many aspects... the jump from console to console now is getting smaller, and it feels like ceilings are being hit.
If by actual gameplay, you mean only gunfights then lemme tell you, this is what happens in real terrains. It's not an open desert like Afganistan. Jungles like these are perfect for ambush. It's all about changing your position and sneaking on the enemy outta nowhere.
@@jasgill7121 I'm a huge call of duty fan and buy it every year.. but not this year. I don't even have the nitpicks, I just played the beta and it didn't seem worth getting, and then after the free to play weekend it reassured me that I made the right choice. It's just awful

The Japanese and Germans shared technology but damn the Japanese having stgs please at the battle of Bougainville!? A huge factor why they lost was lack of fire power. Cod 5 was a lot more sensitive to details..

@@evandotterer4365 Wars run on oil. Japan is a small island nation that is completely dependent on imports. Japan lost their momentum into China the moment the US stopped selling them oil. They tried to push into Siberia to take some oil fields, but the Soviets pushed them back. They then set there sights on the Philippines, but knew the US would stop them, so they decided to strike first, hopefully buying themselves time from American intervention by crippling the American Navy. Japan severely underestimated American industry. Germany had the same issue with oil. US soil surrounded by the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean was impervious from oil starved plebs, while they had plenty of oil to fuel their long range B-29's.
Japanese with STGs and Mg42s? How about a colored unit doing combat arms in the Pacific? Colored troops only saw significant combat late in the European Theater. Medal of Honor Spearhead had a mission about it. In the Pacific they were relegated to logistics. Segregation was wrong but pretending it never happened is revisionism.
I think they got the Japanese confused with the viet cong,seriously those suckers will find literally any way to kill you,bayonet charges from the bushes,sniping from the trees,hidden bunkers,but the gameplay is pretty good
We need a physics upgrade in games, graphics look almost the same now. But the physics are unforgivable. PS3 games had games with more realistic Ragdolls than any game available on PS4 and PS5.
It's because graphics are limited by game engine capabilities and we don't see a jump in graphics until a new game engine is used or a new version of the engine and that happens every 5+ years.
@@UsmanSiddiq1 Not a big jump though and still supports last-gen hardware and it was a huge flop. The real good stuff will happen when last-gen is no longer supported like in the middle of ps5/xsx generation. We'll see when Unreal Engine 5 games start coming out.
Actually, we kinda did, with 2010's Black Ops. Granted, the entire game didn't take place in Vietnam, but a sizeable number of missions were set there.
I just finished this level. You can pick up m1 garand in the game. One of your teammates will die after you kill the sniper. You can obtain his m1 and enjoy .
@@guts-141 Excuse me buddy, i found Thompson today. After you use the flamethrower, you enter the Japanese bunker, there is a lot of wooden walls. Destroy them all. The last wooden wall, is a secret place, you will find Thompson behind it!
It seems to be voiced by a different voice actor than the Japanese dubbed version. I think the Japanese voice actors in the English version are a bit inferior.
Who the hell re-dubbed Call Of Duty games (except for the original)? And the Japanese language is always inferior no matter who speaks Japanese. I live in Asia (Vietnam) and people here like to watch Chinese/Korean dramas and movies. They like to listen to Kpop and Chinese music. Asian women are attracted to Chinese and Korean guys. Many Asian women learn Chinese and Korean to marry Chinese and Korean men. But I have never seen any Asian women attracted to Japanese men. They also don't think Japanese is an attractive language

So MG42 and Type 96 existed during the Japanese-American battle events(WW2) in the Pacific? Hmm, not sure "Realistic" is the word to describe this game.
Playing COD now is like getting back with a ex who used to be really good emotionally and in bed but got toxic and soggy later in life who had just superficial value but you still go back to her because you get free sex.
It sucks when you have to pay just to play online before call of duty was unlimited playing only had to worry about paying for the actual game.. ps4 and xbox should stop this online payment.
