Here’s some info. My family owns a Plastic Injection Molding Company. We mold millions of parts a year for Military and Private companies. This is NOT a flow line. That’s a crack, whether it’s from the mold or the sonic welder I can’t 100% answer. However if I had to guess I would say this was after the molding probably during the sonic welding situation. Once the resin is cooled the part is ejected from the machine that’s when cracks can occur. Flow lines would be extremely visible the moment they are ejected and any injection molder that would be large enough to work with PSA would be fixing that issue before they molded a 10K-100K run for a customer. I will also note we just picked up a new customer and purchased a sonic welder. I’ll put some plastic to the test when it comes in. I am personally a fan of PSA and have graded many cards with them however if I got something like this as an answer I would be livid. Totally taking advantage of people who don’t know how the molding process works.

@@KarpKollector lying is a sin. God loves you and wants a relationship with you. He doesnt love your sin though and because we sin we are spiritually seperated from God but God did something amazing. For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son that whosoever would believe in him would never perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came as God in the flesh. He lived a perfect sinless life. He taught people who to live and treat others. He was hated and was crucified and died on a cross for your sins, was buried and was resurrected on the 3rd day. We cant die for our own sins because we are not good people and needed a perfect sacrifice,in our place. Gods standard is perfection. Jesus taught to love your neighbor as yourself and to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Us as humans are selfesh and rather love ourselves and the things that benefit us. Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out. He also taught that hating someone in your heart is murdering them in Gods eyes and that lusting after someone is commiting adultery. Jesus loves you very much and can give you peace, love and joy. He can deliver you from addictions, suicidal thoughts and depression just like he did me. Repentance must be made though which is changing our mind and turning away from sin and changing the way we are going. We must be remorseful for sinning against a just and holy God who loves us and gave his life for us and was beaten, spit on and mocked so we can forgiven of our sins. Cry out to Jesus to forgive you of your sins confess Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved from Hell and be given Holy Spirit to dwell inside you and help you life a holy life.

The card quality is deceiving your eyeballs into seeing cracks in spacetime. Happens a lot with mint 10s.

@@nah4215 people only grade cards to upcharge other people for the card. nobody cares if the card is a 7 condition if its in a 10 holder as long as the number on the plastic is 10. not sure what point you are trying to make here.

i thought this too my last sub i just got back 40 cards almost all have this hairline scratch same spot on the slab so i cracked one to see if it was on the card and it wasnt just the cases being damaged luckily

Knit lines? I think she is referring to Newton Rings which are a form of illusion from the plastic. I think she just doesn’t understand what the complaint was

Some slabs get so many "flow lines" that PSA cracks the slabs themselves because they are too noticeable. But if it's just one or 2 little lines, they send them on through. Also, Isaac Newton does NOT approve of PSA using his name Fig Newton however highly approves.

I've had slabs come in with wear on the edges. Not as noticeable as this but someone I sold a slab too pointed that out. Check my others and they had the same issue.

Only sport cards have the new cases currently. PSA hasn’t released them yet for TCG’s. Thats why we havent seen them in pokemon

I actually had the EXACT same thing happen to my return. I thought it was a crack but when i shaked it it moved around the inside of the slab. Contacted PSA and they gave me the same BS response smh

so, this tells you that person who is slabbing is not looking at the card after it was just slabbed to ensure the case is clean and no cracks or marks, show me they are lazy! plus at the prices you're paying at it should be perfect.

I have a PSA submission in the final stages right now, grading finishing up today and assembly phase shows to be started… hopefully this video is not some foreshadowing as I have not had issue with PSA yet but have seen this sort of “blemish” from another grading company and decided to not use them personally. I’ll maybe post an updated comment after I open my sub. It was a few personal cards that I value so hopefully nothing goes wrong. 😑

Flow lines are a real thing, however a flow line is a suffice blemish, not a crack like what is obviously on this PSA case. They are just grabbing terms and inserting them on a half hearted explanation.

The new cases, to my knowledge, were only for sports for now, but are to be released for use on other TCG in the future. Sounds very like a “test” run of new slabs to me lol

My blastoise ex got completly mangled at psa. Creases, all that. They said it happened in transit🙄. They gave me 17 out of 19 psa 10s though to make up for it🤣

Just submitted 45 cards to psa and I’m super meticulous about submitting and they send me back 10 cards as 10 and 35 came back as 9’s I’m fucking done with psa garbage ass company

Sorry if someone already commented this but PSA actually only rolled out these “new slabs” for sports so far. So Pokemon and TCGs should be unaffected for now. Someone can correct me if they did roll them out for TCGs since they announcement

Good luck, I've sent almost 10 submissions and every time something is wrong with the slabs. If its not cracks, it's frosting, bubbles in slab, text having low ink on label, glue on slab, piece of plastic in the slab, scratches on slab, etc. 🍀🍀
