I’d like to add that the Marauder’s flash can makes it difficult to mount a suppressor. So if you want this in 300 blackout be prepared to do some extra mods to the muzzle
I like getting shit for a deal, dont get me wrong, but i also likr supporting my local gun store when i can. Ive bought 3 of the romeo 5 at my LGS for i think 149 each. Sure its like 25(or more) than everyone else but no shipping and again, supporting a local business. Shop local when you can. Again, dont get it twisted, i love PSA and Primary Arms but i also spend a decent amount of money up at my LGS.

I have a aero M4E1 lower with an 10.5 upper and love it. I was thinking of going a little more compact and thinking about 7.5 inch. I use it solely for defense of my warehouse I do security for in an extremely high crime area. I wouldn’t even need it for more than 50-75 yards. Do you think it’ll suit my needs?
I just got it for $199 w/free shipping in 5.56 Should’ve got it in 300blk but I’ve got a lot off 5.56 ammo…. With Lehigh fracturing it should be fine but not fabulous

Your bolt might be short stroking from the lack of gas because the barrel is short, especially if you use plinking 55gr. My suggestion is getting aluminum buffer weights and replacing the steel ones in your buffer or a ne light weight buffer. there's tutorials on tuning ARs for reliability online. Other than that running hotter defensive ammo with faster burning powder might help too.

5.56 out of a 7.5" barrel is just a dumb idea. Nowhere near the velocity necessary to tumble and fragment, which is the major wounding mechanism for 5.56. The only thing that makes sense in a PSA Marauder 7.5 is .300 Blackout with supersonics. My truck gun is a Marauder loaded with AAC 110 grain V-Max. Absolutely devastating both in gelatin testing and in real world application for deer/hog hunting.
No it's not just because you think it is. And before you say anything I've seen videos of people hitting on target at 2 to 300 yards with no keyholing. And I know how velocity and all that works out of longer barrels and 556
Update - already sold mine. It was a cool conversation piece and neat to look at, but thats all. Realistically it was nothing more than a portable flashbang cannon 😂
