If David's 'God's Word' was the Pentateuch, how did he in practical terms use it ? To become so familiar with it and so dependent on it, did he have his own copy? Did he learn to read it as a child?

Short answer is all of it. Jesus is a perfect example of meditating on the word and speaking directly from the word (Deuteronomy oftentimes). Not sure if this helps any. Hope so. Blessed day

In the ESV translation, verse 53 starts with the words “Hot indignation…”. It perfectly describes the feeling one may experience while conversing with a person who believes reality is supposed to reshape itself based on their subjective truth. But God,……. ❤️🙏🏻✌🏻
