Just picked mine up, it’s FANTASTIC! You just need to get it right on your head to get it clear. It’s a bit pricey but if you don’t have $4000 for a gaming PC and another $2000 for a different VR headset, it’s pretty cheap. GT 7 is amazing!

I'm playing pistol whip, Pavlov VR, Re8 village, swordsman VR and horizon. The One that Surprised me the most is Pavlov. Hands down the most immersive one. 2 hours went by without me even realizing.

Everybody thinks that wire does not disconnect from the headset, it does without any dismantling. It is meant to disconnect. Look inside right above the visor. On a side-note I've heard people thinking their headset was broke because it won't turn on because that wire got pulled out a little bit. So if you run into anybody that's headset won't turn on make sure you tell them to push that wire all the way in and it will fix the problem

Pro tip: Buy a 40gbps "magnetic" usb-c connector for your psvr2. If you or a newbie kick or pull the cable... it will just pop off instead of potentially damaging your cable/ headset/ or Ps5. 🤠

Usb c conector for the main headset ? Very bad idea the usb transfert insane amount of data here that a magnetic conector cannot handle with stability, also the cable is replace le in case you damage it so bo need to do that

@MadDug Qc As of now... the sony replacement cable is $300!!! That's half the price of the headset. And the usb does work.. as long as you don't buy a cheap one that can't handle the processing power. That's why I said 40gbps.

Just one note. You don't need to disassemble to change cable. The Sony marked tab over the lightshield is actualy a simple pul out tab for the USB-C. Try it out. ;)

I bought the ugreen 1 meter extension cable and the in between that cable and the psvr2 canle i put a magenetic connector that supports 10 gb/s and it would perfectly and if you have animals or shall kids its essential for not damaging your ps5 or psvr2 if the cable gets hit hard

Important: it will still be a little blurry and not comparable to the PS5 quality on a TV. It's gonna be better in-game than in the menu but keep your expectations realistic. Most reviews seem to not mention this and think their VR2 is broken.

Funny you say that I bought that game on release I played one hour of it and decided to shut it down and not play again until psvr 2 got released. I am so happy with that decision now this way I'm not replaying the game just to play in VR I'm getting the VR experience as my first playthrough. I wish they would remaster Biohazard for this headset. Even if they don't I'm excited about the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake

Same with me. I'm forst time VR and been asking same question. I think it's normal. Vr2 has small sweet spot that is also the FOV eye track sweet spot. Everything else is blurry. Not good in cinema mode. Even eye tracking screen the words are blurry. But games look great and are clear.

PSVR2 has one single USB C Cable, no HDMI like PSVR1. So you can leave your TV HDMI plugged in your TV or what do you mean ?

From what I've seen, you just need to make sure your ipd is set. Eye tracking has been working fine when we switch accounts.

Grid pattern? Not sure if you’re talking about your safe zone but the grid usually comes out when you’re approaching the edge of your play area that you set up. You can adjust it in the settings if you have more space. Grid lines shouldn’t appear

Yea I am super new to vr bought the psvr 2 blind and the only gripe I had was it would slide down my nose causeing the screen to go just blurry enough to make it difficult to fight in games like I frogot the name wait no it’s zenith however I figured out by fiddliling with the headset that there was a knob in the back of the headset that would allow me to tighten it in place and that was no longer an issue so I was satisfied even if there would have been some other hidden features to make headset better I personally don’t feel I need em

I’ve only just picked up a ps5 finally after them not being easily available to buy from the shops here. Am yet to get a psvr2 but have a Vive old gen on the pc and looking for something new to replace that cos I also don’t have enough room where I used to play the Vive. Looking forward to trying the psvr2 out when I can afford it. Cos they are very expensive here. But less then half the price of the new Vive lol. So willing to save up a little and give this a go. Was worried about it cos I wear glasses. But so far from what I’ve seen. Glasses uses can play the psvr2. Thanks for the review 😁👌

I play without the rubber face mask. It cuts down on fogging if you wear glasses and also cuts down on motion sickness because you can see the room around you.

No you can't use it with the lights off, not even in a room that's dimly lit, it seems to need the brightness of a thousand suns to work correctly with the tracking.

That was way to many steps to adjust visibility. That's the main one I do to line my eyes up perfect for the better view. You just have to double tap the ps button. That brings up a psvr2 menu with that option right there.

Guys do not hold the headset from the wire. Unplug your headset and hold it with one hand. With the opposite hand, pinch the cable with two fingers, starting from the headset slide down like your getting the twists out of a yoyo.

I had this problem. I think you should not turn on the controllers until you are in the game, just use dualsense to load up, then turn on to sync up.

So I had this issue with GT7 but I believe the PSVR2 controllers aren’t compatible with the game. I think you have to use the dual sense for that game (or of course a steering wheel setup)

I just put sticky backed foam weather stripping to the sides of the lenses. That way, when my son wears his glasses, even if he pushes it back until it smashes into his glasses it gets stopped by the foam with almost 1/4" between the lenses.

Biggest problem with psvr2/ if you wear glasses it Will scratch both VR lenses and your glasses./ Playstation doesn't make glasses protection, thereby destroying your $1200.00 dollar equipment. Simply because playstation doesn't want to admit scratching will happen guaranteed. Oculus quest 2 has silicone glasses protectors.

Vroptician makes prescription lens inserts that you pop on for $69. Then you can get the lenses nice and close to your eyes for maximum fov. I'm surprised with all the time you had to post a bunch of times complaining about this that you couldn't take the 30 seconds like I just did to google it and find a solution.

You're still wearing diving glasses, the mura, the graininess, the motion blur. I own the PSVR 2. My advice, just accept it. It is what it is. The more you play it the less you pay attention to those things because your brain starts to block them out. But goodness gracious were we all conned. Let's just be honest. If anybody tells you the PSVR 2 is great they are lying through their teeth. At best, it's decent. It is entry level VR at a very VERY steep price. That's it. I enjoy it. I enjoy it a lot in fact. I am also someone who speaks the truth. I don't sweep things under the rug. I want people to know what they are buying. Because it's not cheap at all. It is very VERY expensive. It is worth more than the PS5 itself. So I just want to make sure people have their expectations of the PSVR 2 in check!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. Def thought it was going to be 4K crisp clarity. It’s def grainy / has the screen door effect. But this is my first VR set so still pretty impressed & happy with the purchase. Moss / GT7 are great experiences. Still getting my VR legs on first person shooters like RE & Star Wars.

Idk man. Mine is perfect. I’m playing horizon and the shit looks incredible. I have absolutely zero blur. Not sure about motion blur. I hadn’t notice so I’ll say I don’t have that either. The graphics are impressive. It was well worth it. It’s pretty great. Only thing I can’t figure out is using the headset wirelessly with it.

Thank you for your honestly. All these RU-vidrs that were given free headsets deliberately failed to mention the setbacks and now all over RU-vid once it was released into the mainstream they want to talk about it all off a sudden! 🤨 Some were even saying the graphics look better in VR than the PS5! 😂

My first headset ha a faulty pixel other than that a crystal clear image, I did not notice any mura, I've returned it and my replacement has massive mura :/

playstation has pulled off an epic scam with this roll out... it's my own fault, I didn't do enough research, no games, uncomfortable headset, compilated adjustments for a clearer image, no backward play or cross platforming, no non-gaming options... if not for no man sky, total bust!!!

Insufferable. If I just listened to the talking and don't watch the video I feel like my phone is dropping frames every couple seconds. And sorry bud, this is not informational information as you so articulately put it. This is literally in the instruction manual. All of it. But I'm pretty sure it also tells you how to remove the cord easily and I'm pretty sure it warns you to not swing the headset around by it.

Hey guys just got my ps5 vr my remotes do not work in game I can do everything else with them but can't get vr games to work when I start them up. Reconnected and reinstalled with no success. Any advice out there please!!!?? Help

myne is switching off screen after some time of playing sweaty in swordsman. today its second time it switched off. yesterday was the same

I keep doing this as well, but I think it's because the ps button is so sensitive and sits so flush in the controller. I realized I was clicking it after a while. Still haven't figured out a way to not do it but that may be why it's happening
