people who say "he was trying to replicate gangnam style" annoy me because thats the energy PSY ALWAYS HAS THAT ENERGY. he always has been incredibly successful in Korea. he always has been upbeat & made songs that are more "goofy".

Psy has been an active artist in Korea years before Gangnam Style blew up, for what ever reason America took it and beat it to death by having it every where. Psy's overall style is high energy, ironies, parodies, etc, like his concerts are crazy big. To me personally I liked his older songs way more than Gangnam Style. This song is like how some guys pretend to be gentlemen but really are jerks

Just letting you know that i believe, hes making fun of men who claim they are gentlemen but are really just jerks to the people around them. Its a satire song. So hes only doing it to make fun of people who act like this. Lol. Hes also playing with the words mother and father making it sound like mother-f-ing. The section where he says mother father gentleman. Not sure if you guys were able to get the message he was trying to bring out. Im sure you guys got it though

He wasn't riding a wave this is his style of song and video he was already popular before gangnam style. Gangnam style just so happen to get popular in the states

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the dance came from Brown Eyed Girls “Abracadabra”, and that is GaIn (the girl) from the group. Check out their video, you may like it. (You don’t have to react to it, just to watch it and go “Oh I see now.” )
