I hope the series will have a far more amazing villain than he is, since he was the soul of Psycho Pass s1. He's the type of character that'll die with the series. And he's just been on one season, when there will be more seasons so of course you need greater antagonists to keep the show alive. I think Kogami will become one, there's some foreshadowing on the last episode wherein Shogo said who'll be his replacement. Kogami joined an international terrorist group... S2 is not that amazing though...
@@_HaSSaaN_ Agreed. Makishima's character is motivated by the reality of Sibyl; wishing for the free will of people and exposing to others that they are nothing but mere sheep. Johan Liebert was a true Monster he cared about nothing only wanting to prove to Tenma that life is meaningless.
@@erra4185 I am not quoting from that hacker dude. It's my personal feeling. Makishima is one of the interesting characters in anime world, I like this character
Zokashi D. unfortunately i don't :( but there are some characters that share the intelligence and planning skills with him like Johan from Monster and Lelouch from Code Geass, you might watched them before because they are so popular
Johan from Monster comes the closest to Makishima, but in terms of a ideological philosopher terrorists villain, you are out of luck. In terms of ideological and philosophical analysis of society you could try Ghost in the Shell.
Lelouch from code geass and light from death note.if u ask me,I don't think anime characters can be really close to him but I recommend a book (pendragon ) . The villain in it is truely close to him from both appearance and ideology aspects.
