You perceived correctly about Dimash having depth. From his own words, Dimash did not have a "rough" life and was lovingly supported throughout his training since he was 5 years old by family, friends and his teachers. I believe that Dimash's strongest point is his ability to recognize this and express gratitude towards all in his surroundings who participate in his career. The same way he also shows love and gratitude to his fans around the world. Dimash is not only an extraordinary talented singer and musician, he is also an extraordinary human being.

SOS is from a French musical Starmania. The hero finds his girlfriend shot and sings this song over her dead body. The last words are in the form of a tender goodbye 'Sleep, child, sleep'. The lyrics are profound and touching. Dimash can be a very serious person and he definately struggles with the dark side of how people treat each other, especially regarding war and killing, lack of love and tolerance between races (War & Peace, The Story of One Sky). You will find he is attracted to songs that express philosophical topics of life and death (SOS, Stranger, The Meaning of Eternity), what it is to be human (Passione, Fly Away), achieving ones dreams, growing older (Omir Oter), becoming strong and determined (Olympico), criticism, controlling behaviour, restriction of freedom, oppressive regimes (Golden, Zhalyn, Okay, The Story of One Sky), transcendence, healing (Ave Maria). He is an old soul in a young man's body.

He's a very deep thinker and there are a few interviews on his channel where you get to understand a little how his mind works. Sometimes he posts his musings on his Instagram and I remember reading one from back last year after he had been mobbed by Chinese Dears, wondering about how he came to be this fortunate, that maybe there were more talented people out there that deserved this more than him but hadn't been lucky enough to get the breaks that he had. Apologising for being an introvert and not being willing to do more interviews but loving that his fans accept him as he is and that although he's an introvert he appreciates the love and support of his Dears.

Bonjour! Amicalement

This song is from a French musical from the late 1970’s. Dimash is an incredibly grounded, humble, kind and loving person. He’s not only an incredible artist, he’s also a philanthropist and advocate for global peace. He’s incredibly close with his family and very attached to his homeland and countrymen.

Dimash was inspired to sing this song as the result of the saga of Gregory Lemarchal, a beautiful young French talent show contestant with cystic fibrosis who was required to sing, act, and dance on a program he won in spite of having only 25 percent of his lung capacity. Gregory knew what his fate would be and sang this song shortly before dying at the age of 23 in 2007 while waiting for a lung transplant. Dimash later sang the song in memory of his friend, champion Kazakh figure skater who was murdered at the age of 25 by hoodlums stealing parts off of his car. The song is heartfelt every time Dimash sings it, both by Dimash and by his fans.

He is an absolute music master. He is a giant standing at 1.9+ meters tall. He has fans ALL OVER THE WORLD. His last concert in Kazakstan was sold out in less than two days from 64 countries. He calls his fans his DEARS and is never to buzy to talk to them. He is the best role model for the youth and every body. His fans will defend him relentlessly. Dimash has been training, performing, practicing his entire life, since 3yrs. old. He sings constantly, he trains no less than 3 hrs. everyday. He has several vocal coaches. As to SOS, he has been singing this song for well over 10yrs. He has been performing this and improving on it all of this time. He became famous with the performance of this song in 2017 on I Am Singer show in China. Dimash is the best singer/vocalist on the planet. Dimash has said that if you cut open his head, you would find music. If you cut open his heart, you would find music. He IS music. He is phenomenal in every way. He is handsome, tall at 6'3", kind and giving, funny, does not drink or smoke or cuss, loves his family and country. He is dedicated to peace. His recent masterpiece is 'The Story of One Sky' that he worked on for 3 yrs. He put all that he had into an incredible 13minute mini movie. It is incredible and his singing is unmatched. There's so many songs and performances of his, and this is just the very tip of the iceberg. You should check out 'Love of Tired Swans', and 'Ogni Pietra', 'Endless Dimensions', 'Love is Like a Dream', 'Sinful Passion', and more and more and more. He's done commercials, movie theme songs, multiple high quality music videos, game theme songs, 3hr concerts, etc. etc. etc. He sings in 14 different languages and 7+ octaves, and multiple genres. Thank you for checking him out.

Thank you for your reaction to Dimash. This song is indeed very sad: this was written for Daniel Balavoine, a famous French singer, for the opera rock Starmania (author: L. Plamondon), and it is about a man thinking about suicide. Daniel Balavoine tragically died at 35 in a helicopter crash during the Paris-Dakar. Years later, another French singer performed this song, Gregory Lemarchal, during a competition. He also sadly passed away when he was 22 (I think), due to a disease (cystic fibrosis). Now it is Dimash's song. As a French speaker, I knew well the previous versions by Balavoine and Lemarchal but honestly, Dimash's versions are unmatched. I hope you will continue your Dimash's journey: he is so talented, so versatile, his repertoire is full of masterpieces in every genre. He is not only the best vocalist in the world, he is an absolute genius. Regarding the visuals, the ones presented during his latest concert in Almaty (Sept 2022) were incredible. If you watch his music videos, you will see that all have magical visuals. About his ability to sing like that during a whole concert, in Almaty, he performed during 4 hours, more than 30 songs, and it was powerful, emotional, magical, an incredible moment in a full stadium. When you will have reacted to his latest music video The Story of One Sky (the quintessence of Dimash's art, the most insane masterpiece ever, a 14 min uppercut in your soul), you can watch him performing this song in Almaty and see how full of passion he is when delivering this song (there is a very good fancam by Dimash Vietnamese fanclub: but of course we are all waiting for the official video of the concert!)

Hi friend, I've been a follower of Dimash since 2017, each of his songs is a gem because in addition to his vocal quality that exceeds traditional standards, those songs have lyrics with excellent messages, it would be nice for you to see them. He also makes us feel emotions and feelings with his interpretation, it is an immersive and addictive experience. Listening and seeing this musical prodigy sing is a tremendous experience that activates your senses and feelings to an extraordinary level, you will see how it manages to capture your attention and keeps you immersed in the song as if you were the protagonist of the story, so in fact most of their songs have a story. Dimash sings in several languages (Kazakh, Russian, Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, English, Spanish, among others. He sings in various musical genres, plays various musical instruments, has studied music since he was 5 years old, has toured and performed in Asia , Europe and North America. He calls his fans "Dears". Surely you have already written a lot of information about him, but I can tell you that he is a very humble human being who does not brag about his talents, he is very grateful to his followers and in He has said in interviews that beyond being famous, his goal is to transmit happiness and good music. I hope you continue to react to him. I would like your reaction to these songs Dimash: “Stranger” ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lFsB5HVnmSA.html and "Olympico" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dkPS6t84qg4.html Believe me, you will like all Dimash's songs a lot. Thank you for doing this reaction, I was hoping for it. I think as far as I can go back to him singing this is 15 yrs old. I don’t know what affected Dimash in his past that drew him to this song being his signature song. It is also his fans favorite song to. Vocal critics say he is singing lyrical singing… when the words are speaking of being up the melody is up same thing about being down the melody is down. During Covid I had 5 operations over a six month period and found Dimash when I was inside in bed. He charged $10 for this concert. I was poor and Dimash allowed it so I could afford it. Barbara srptreisand charged years ago $2,000 a seat for her concert. This shows me how much Dimash loves me. I’m nobody, but his loved reached me and brought me out the other side. After the surgeries on my 6’2” frame I only weighed 155lbs. I thought I would always be frail, but years later I got better. Dimashs reactors and dears have encouraged me on. I do have a mental disorder too and this song continues to lift me up. This is his sensitive side that I see and hear so many times. That for your healing reaction.

Erlan Bechurin, his "sound guy" and very close friend, said he feels this song best shows his range. Maybe that's why he chose this particular song to sing first on I Am Singer. And then because so many people loved it, he decided to have it as his "signature" song. I could be wrong, but that makes sense to me.

Dimash, feels and lives SOS. He has dedicated this song to one of his best friends DENIS TEN. That young skater who lost his life at an early age in an assault, being a proud Kazakh and an Olympic medalist. It is unquestionably a song that reaches the depths of Dimash's heart. Excellent reaction. Here’s a link when when Dimash pays a small tribute to his friend at one of his concerts, and sings this song for him, a very emotional moment. "SOS (of an earthling in distress)" (in top 5 most difficult french songs) was performed previously by Daniel Balavoine, and also by Gregory Lemarchal (a young french singer who performed this song with the voice of an angel even though he only had 20% lung capacity left - due to cystic fibrosis, which took his life at 23). Dimash was inspired to sing "SOS" by Gregory`s version. Dimash kept only some of the lyrics, giving the song a stripped down, philosophical meaning, a larger "lament for humanity" meaning, and a "goodbye" meaning, dedicated to people, artists, "pulled away by waves from another world" at a young age. For example, Dimash never sang the lyric "I didn`t get the right number = J'ai pas tiré l'bon numéro" - which fit Gregory`s tragic destiny, sentenced to live with (and eventually die of) cystic fibrosis, an incurable, genetic disorder - but it didn`t fit Dimash`s blessed circumstances, for which he is extremely grateful. He kept "at the grand lottery of the universe" for the dip into low range, and after, he went straight to 'Si jamais c'était plus beau' [if ever it was more beautiful]). Since 2018 - Dimash turned "SOS" into a tribute and goodbye to his friend Denis Ten, young kazakh figure skater, murdered by thieves at age 25. He had skated to "SOS", and they were planning to do a "duet" performance, but they never got to do that, Denis was killed. In his London concert (2018) and Arnau Kazakhstan (2019), Dimash had images of Denis playing on the big stage screens. In London, at the end of "SOS", Dimash wiped tears off his face and abruptly walked off the stage, took a break to gather himself. In Arnau Kazakhstan concert, he invited Denis` parents to the concert and dedicated the song to them as well, and he inserted in the middle of "SOS" a clip of Denis singing 'You look like an angel'. Since 2018-2019 : "SOS" has become a tribute to Denis, and music icons that died young : Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Amy Winehouse, Chester Bennington, A`Studio band`s lead singer Batyrkan Shukenov, and many others, and images of them roll on the big stage screens as well. Aside from a tribute-goodbye to precious people who died young, he also sings this song as a lament for the world, and on the screens roll images of painful events that sometimes make us want to be a bird, hoping this world would be better seen from above : the burning of Notre Dame, cities destroyed by natural disasters, pandemic etc. Thank you for the reaction video :) Your enjoyment is contagious :)) Subscribed 👍 P.S. Dimash is able to sing like this because he has been training since he was 5, and still trains 3 hours every day, after graduating both Classical and Contemporary. He had both low range and high range since very young, and kept the high range through voice change, but more than that, he *wanted* to use an entire range, for wide artistic expression. He probably loved his mother`s soprano range (she is professional opera soprano), and having her around probably helped him through mirror neurons to hold on to the higher range :)) And, as a vocal coach said, he never pushed in any specific segment of the range, so he remained free in all sectors of the range. Aside from some physical gifts in the vocal cords department, which most people say "he must have", I think that having a free mind and *wanting* to use his whole range was a big factor. And an indication of that mindset is the fact that he trained his high range by himself, with soprano arias, behind his Bel Canto teacher`s back, who didn`t openly encourage him, as it wasn`t customary. Since university days though, I am sure that his teacher advised him well on how to manage everything he wants to do, in all sectors of range, from bass to soprano, once it became clear that Dimash is set on using it in his entire career. Dimash and his teacher are friends to this day, and Dimash trusts him the most when he needs intricate advice with things he wants to master or overcome. P.P.S. As a person, Dimash is a young man, 28, who had and has the love and support of his family, who has a normal, clean life, no drugs, no smoking, no getting drunk. He plays some sports, tennis, swimming, and has fun playing videogames with his friends. Instead of going to clubs, which he doesn`t really like, as "loud music is tiresome and a risk to ruin hearing" (he needs his hearing, and has perfect pitch), he gets in a car with his friends and they drive around and chat. And the rest of the time, most of his time, he spends in his studio, on his music, on his compositions, on thinking about the shows that he wants to bring to life for his fans. Rehearses and does vocal training. That`s habits. The fabric of his soul is shaped by being a man of faith (he is muslim, puts God first, and he prays), and by being a very grateful human, by having deep respect for his elders - family and teachers, and for all human beings in general. He has a big sense of responsibility, wants to contribute to his country, through the gift of singing given to him. He is also very happy and immensely grateful that his art brings together people from all corners of the world. (he has fanclubs in 100+ countries, and to all his concerts people come from 30+ countries, wherever he sings, from Kazakhstan to London to New York) He manages a very good balance, in my opinion, between caring deeply for different issues, and maintaining a healthy mindset - which also permeates his art. None of his songs have a depressing/depressive, nihilistic tinge. Which is what made him my most favorite artist in the entire world. Even if the topic of the song is painful, hard, it`s never depressive/depressing. He puts the pain into the song, plain and simple, and then there`s also a healing element to it, vocally, in the lyrics, or in the resolving chords. He takes on songs with history, or about history, and brings them to vivid new life with his covers. His 'breakup' songs express the sorrow, but add well-wishing. Only once he composed a song called "Regret", that was more regretful, painful, without a positive resolve - and he sang it only once. Never since. And this is another unique thing about Dimash - he picks, chooses and changes his concert songs list. He doesn`t dwell on the same song list for decades, he doesn`t come back to a song if he doesn`t want to, even if fans ask him to, if he doesn`t want to revisit something that he considers that it belonged in a specific moment, he doesn`t revisit it. I think it`s a very sane, organic approach. I often wondered how other singers manage to keep picking at scabs on their soul singing some songs for decades. Dimash is the first singer that I have seen that has a more sane approach even to his concert song list :)

This song is a pearl of the French songbook is a Canadian-French cyberpunk-rock opera called Starmania, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Grégory Lemarchal. The song's theme is depression: In this 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the distressed character: From chest voice to head voice and then falsetto, the author aimed to show a broad need to win a long of desperation and the need to reach a very high perspective! Dimash, currently in his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who left this world!

Dimash was the first contestant……in China 2017 and I don’t know about the other after him…..but they just disappeared…!!!!!….hahaha….!!!!!..final second… I watched more than 50 reactions.…vocalist……vocal coach…..and other musicians… men and women most have goosebump……and mouth open…..some are ready to cry….. at the higher note…..the whistle…..one fell down from his chair, another had some pencil in his hand and threw them suddenly behind him over his shoulder...they all told that Dimash is an Aliens…..and one left for 5 seconds come back with deep breathing…...and other one said “I quit”…!!!!!…. About Dimash, same song, other performances in Belarus 2018……judge and guest. We saw the president of the country Alexander Lukashenko at the end……. My favorite version, is the same song with the special effects SOS…was during the confinement 2021…..he finish the song on his knees…!!!!… He is wearing a dark red suit…..I like the lighting…….the drummer….the wing from a bird……all are perfect….. Between the musicians, the choir, the special effects on the back……this is phenomenal for the exceptional singer…!!!!…about the musicals arrangements. He has two younger siblings, Raushan and Abilmansur, who are also a musician, composer, guitarist, pianist and drummer. HISTORY: This song (SOS Terrien en détresse) is part of Starmania it's a rock opera music by Michel Berger (France), lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Quebec, Canada).......two of the best....... The show was presented for the first time on April 10, 1979 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. Michel composed for the first performer Daniel Balavoine for his special range. Unfortunately, Daniel died at the age of 33 in 1986 in a helicopter accident during a humanitarian mission in Mali. The second, magnificently interpreted by Gregory Lemarchal, in 2004, he became known to the general public by winning the fourth season of the show Star Academy. Unfortunately, he died of cystic fibrosis at the age of 23 in 2007. This song was almost forgotten. Dimash took over, it was “he” who chose it when he saw Gregory interpret it, respect to Dimash for preserving the linguistic origin of this work. Dimash interpret a song phonetically……. In May 2018, Dimash performed at the 71st Cannes Film Festival (France). In July, he appeared at Slavic Bazaar 2018 in Vitebsk, Belarus, as a judge and guest artist, and sang "SOS from an Earthling in Distress". You know the rest…..

Check out: 1. "Sinful Passion". At end goes 24 seconds without breath. 2. "Unforgettable Day" at GAKKU. Make sure at GAKKU. Off high end of piano D8. Dimash wrote this song at age 17 or 19. 3. "Ave Maria". 4. "Diva Dance". From movie Fifth Element. 5. "Drunken Concubine". Duet. Very low to very high whistle. From a Chinese opera. Insane to watch! Many many fantastic songs. 7+ to 8 octave range.

Dimash is incredible, no matter what genres he sings. His mentor, when he first started performing was Hua Chenyu, who did a trilogy for depression which I feel you would really enjoy. Start with “Madhouse”. His fans will fill you in on the rest of the trilogy. He is considered China’s most influential artist and his tickets sell out in minutes. Fantastic performer and artist. Other songs I feel that you will enjoy are “Bullfighting”(pun intended, I feel) and “Nunchucks” are also amazing. I’ve listened to music now for 67 years and these two men are absolutely phenomenal human beings performing way above anything I’ve ever heard before. Please enjoy whenever you can and much appreciated! Much love from California. ❤️🍀🌈🙏🏻😇❣️

Great rxn. Love my fellow Dears commenting here, always classy and heartfelt. They will provide great suggestions. Right up your alley with lyrics, outrageous talent, and a survivor of abuse who now thrives is Diana Ankudinova, "Queen of Goosebumps." True Dramatic Contralto sing:s 15-Wicked Game (mesmerizing), 18-Can't Help Falling In Love (out-of-body), 15-Human (haunting), and 14-Rechenka ( hypnotic). Rechenka (little river) is a collection of Russian folk tales about an orphan who is being given away in marriage to the unloved, and goes to the river, border between the living and the dead, to ask blessings from her deceased mother. Poignant considering Diana was beaten and abused by her birth mother, abandoned at a bus stop in winter with a broken collarbone, brought to an orphanage speechless at 3, learned to sing as speech therapy, and was adopted by a loving family. Love and music conquered all. She twice won "You Are Super," a contest for abused / underprivileged children largely sponsored by renounced composer Igor Krutoy (collaborates w Dimash), who bought an apartment in Moscow for Diana's family and secured a spot for Diana at university to continue her musical journey. As with Dimash, she has a rabidly loyal following. I look forward to your reaction and insightful commentary. You will not be disappointed. God bless and stay safe

This song is Dimash’s calling card. That is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears. This song is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight in 2017. The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' (1978) and is known in the English-speaking world as Tycoon (1995). Music: Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon (French original text). The English adaptation is by Tim Rice. During the pandemic, the Dears asked Dimash to perform online. He liked the idea, but decided to present something new, authentic and original. An international team of 140 people worked to organize a concert combining modern television and virtual technologies. On January 16th. In 2021 the global DIMASH DIGITAL SHOW started. The specialists of the world-famous Ukrainian company “Extravaganza” were mainly responsible for the technical execution. This company has accompanied concerts by the Scorpions, Sting, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, Lara Fabian, Deep Purple, Prodigy, David Garett and many other world stars. (dimash news) * Backstage - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2TNo0oXb744.html That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day bodyguards were at his door and now he is a megastar but without airs... just our Dimash. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to RU-vid ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. Won). * SOS d'un terrien en détresse (2017) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bDX3FhmyNac.html (full version) * Original: Daniel Balavoine - SOS d'un terrien en détresse (Starmania) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9kZuDhuTkxE.html

It would be so interesting to hear an interview with Dimash that explored his early development and the origins of his creative sensibilities, which are so striking. He grew up in a very stable and loving family, within a society that has undergone many changes in recent decades, but is still strongly aligned to Putin's Russia, and exhibits many of the same fault lines as its powerful neighbour. And his country has a long and terrible history of being a battleground for conflict that goes back centuries. He's very proud of his country and especially its musical traditions, which are very rich, but scarcely known to mainstream listeners in the West. He regards himself as an ambassador for Kazakh culture, but at times he has indicated concern for political events in the country, and he seems to be very angry about what is happening in Ukraine. He has many fans in Russia, and important creative relationships, but he has not performed there this year as far as I am aware. So there are many tensions he has to manage. I'm struck by his sensitivity, apparent right from his earliest successes in international events, and his ability to invest his performances with pathos and compassion. He has an 'old soul' and an understanding of the suffering that exists in life that has always been beyond his years. His prodigious technical gifts could be a problem to a lesser artist. What do you do with an instrument when it can do almost anything. He's not a juggler, and somehow he manages to integrate all the registers, styles and colours available to him in a way that is musically and emotionally compelling, and never leaves the listener disengaged by the elaboration of much technique. In some of his early performances there were moments when I would think okay, I know you can jump up the octaves, but what does it mean? That seems to be a question he is much more on top of now, because it rarely crosses my mind these days. That's musical intelligence and great artistry. He's an empath, no doubt that he's got a very well balanced ego. He's been gifted by nature through his genetics, he had the good fortune to grow up in an environment where his talent was recognised, nurtured and protected from a very young age, and he's had access to some very good teaching. Nevertheless, at some point in his adolescence he took responsibility for his talents, and he identified a creative objective that no-one could possibly have imposed upon him, because no-one else has done what he does. Whatever it was he heard with his inner ear, was prescient; and he had the single mindedness and discipline to apply himself to realising the potential of his talent in a way that is really incredible. Teenage boys don't often have that level of maturity, and I imagine it took some measure of courage to make such a determined effort to preserve his boy's treble through the changes of puberty. He defied expectations based on gender in a fairly traditional Muslim society. This is surely rare genius? He is the apprentice to his own sorcerer. He embodies the heritage of his culture, the love and values of his family, and he is also his own creation. He's very private, and he talks about himself in a way that is very considered and reserved. I expect there's a cultural influence there, and possibly a political one as well; but even so, he's careful about what he discloses about his personal life. His interviews are polite to the point of being slightly dull; but from what I've seen, so are the questions. He's not at all like 28 year old male popstars in the West - I'm looking at you Justin and Harry - and there's no reason that he should: so much pop culture is narcissistic, and a lot of young stars fall victim to their own success. Still, it's quite shocking to see how he transforms when he gets on stage, and all this passion and personality explodes out of him. Is he like one of those actors who are more at home on a stage, and better able to express themselves, than almost anywhere else? That can be quite lonely I think, but also a powerful driver for creativity. Fame, and the expectations that come with success, especially for a talent so singular as his, can become a gilded prison for highly sensitive people. We all need a place where we can be our human fallible selves with people who want the best for us, without fear or favour. Life can be lonely on a pedestal. As Montaigne said, it's important to keep a private room behind the shop. So I hope he has that.

Dimash is so grateful, he always mentions and thanks, not only his family, but those who were with him on the journey, supporting him, his humility as a person, as a son, grandson, brother, friend and professional is beautiful, he seems to be a young man with an old soul, very spiritual, the interviews demonstrate, in fact since childhood, there is an interview with Dimash when he was 12 years old and his words are impressive. I enjoy your appreciation of Dimash. However I’m not a huge fan of lyric analysis for a song written 15 years before he was born and trying to apply it to him. Honest question, how much value is there to apply lyrical meaning to someone singing a cover of a song? Now if you want to react to something created by Dimash, where lyrical analysis would mean something, I would suggest two songs. Both are official M/V rather than live performances, because Dimash is multi-dimensional and tells his personal stories via video as well as his singing. First would Qairan Elim, which was created in response to losing two of his vocal coaches to Covid. I don’t think he actually wrote the lyrics, but he did create the story upon which the lyrics are based, as well as directing the video. This video was the first time I realized that Dimash is more than just the best vocalist in the world, he is a total artist. The second video is his latest video, The Story of One Sky. This is his masterpiece, his opus. Again the lyrics are based off of the story he created, as is the video. He composed all the music and he really shows how talented an actor he is which shouldn’t be a surprise from his emotive singing. This piece is a rock opera in four acts, a plea for peace, and 13:41 of cinematic quality. It puts the viewer through an emotional wringer and is the greatest work he’s ever done. I think it deserves the Nobel Prize for peace. Were it anyone else, I’d say they could never top it. But know this about Dimash, just when you think you have him figured out and know all his capabilities, he will surprise you.

I appreciate your reaction and that you can appreciate the greatness Dimash. Only an imbecile would be so clueless not to. Dimash is on another level. He has no peer imo. I only have one complaint. I wish you would not pause and talk so much and for so long throughout the song. Let it play through a few phrases at least. I know you want to analyze, but that's a different experience. You need to hear the song first to give it it's fair listen in its entirety. Then, go back and analyze. A reaction means how you experienced the song and performance as a piece of music. A song, especially a song by Dimash, whether a cover or original, is presented as a painting. He paints a picture with sound. He draws you in from the moment before the very beginning...through the middle and to the end and it's after moment. It's alway irritating when a reaction er stops just short of the end. It is an experience, not just a tune. One cannot fully appreciate a painting piecemeal. As a person who spent 35 years in intensive therapy, hospitalizations and some psychoanalysis due to deep troubles, I can see the amazing mental health of Dimash. Not to say he hasn't experienced pain and deep feelings, he is one of the most centered non- neurotic individuals on the planet. A truly healthy ego. I can only dream of such a thing. Most of the human race belongs on the couch. Clueless. Dimash has an insight and awareness beyond his years. His family provided everything a blossoming young artistic mind needed. He is aware how lucky he is for that support. And shows his gratitude on a constant basis. He loves his family, his culture and his homeland deeply. He gives attention to his Dears and always treats others with respect. He's strong, yet not afraid too feel. He possesses courage to face the unknown after coming from such a warm loving home. He has the coping skills despite his naivete. Just in the last few years we've seen him grow quite a bit. He learns fast, but never loses his mooring. He has his moments of personal struggle, and it's captured for all to see., but he doesn't hide himself. He is comfortable in his skin. He knows who he is. How I envy that. Such freedom from fear I cannot imagine. Music is the best and healthiest catharsis there is. Music saved me. I could never have survived without my piano. Dimash lives in the truth. Reality. Such awareness is not easy. Not when your heart is so full of love. Dimash an amazing beautiful human being both inside and out. I am so grateful he exists. He is a shining light in a dark world. A ray of hope. A blessing. His name literally means "God given".

Just listened to your first reaction to Dimash, would've given you a big 'dislike', but decided not to. It's been more than 5 years since the world for the first time heard Dimash. Today, there are hundreds of millions followers of the best vocalist on the planet... and you never heard of him... And you never heard about Igor Krutoy. You, as are many other Americans, don't really care about anybody...unless someone tells you to listen to this guy or that. You too narrow, too one-sided. If you're on youtube i0n front of many people, you should spend time researching this musical world once in a while. But you're lucky: Dimash's people are very generous, they'll love regardless. So go on, wait for someone else to tell you about somebody. Good luck.
