Yeaaa but that’s a loaded response lol. For example I treat everyone the same but clients never think about how they treat associates. When you close at 9pm abs you have been at work all day and a client comes in at 8:55 and says “oh i would like to buy a bag.” It’s gonna feel rushed. I’ve literally stayed until 10 whenever n the store closes at 9 because people don’t care. And then your colleagues who aren’t helping that person, has to stay too. Abs when they finally leave, you have to stay an hour after that to close registers clean up etc. I never understand why people come five mins before close and then get upset when they don’t get A1 service. That person has been at work allll day, don’t know if they have to get home to relive a babysitter etc so many things. I think it’s a two way street. Like ur more than likely gonna feel rushed in situations like that. I always would think, I wish I could show up to this persons job and do this lol

I worked in restaurants and when in customer service we are to fulfill the duty to provide service to the customer. We don’t rush food and slop it on a plate because we want to go home. Sorry girl I don’t agree with your statement. If your baby sitter is an issue make sure you schedule wiggle room like everyone else

@@ChanelTheWalkingMoonI worked in restaurants too and although you don’t rush a guest or slap their food on their plate, you do have to let them know when the kitchen closes and that whatever we have run out of will not be able to be made. Not to mention the restaurant shuts down sections of the floor to clean until the very last guest leaves and the lighting will even change at closing time. So even though you aren’t rushing the guest out, there are indicators that let the guest know they have overstayed their welcome

Girl! U already know what it is!!!! That place is beyond intense. Even as a part timer. It’s like you said too, you loose so much of the minimal commission to taxes it all sucks!

I don’t understand how a client like myself can have the same CA for years, especially if CAs come and go. I don’t shop there weekly or even monthly, maybe 2-3 times a year. I never get the same CA. So, I don’t see the loyalty between clients and CAs, more of clients brand loyalty. It would be nice to have the brand appreciates there employees and maybe that will keep their employees longer.

@@vvl3069 💯 true. I’ve been in retail for 30+ years… management, project development, corporate creative. I literally took the job for part time fun and of course I understand that there are responsibilities. What on earth could be so complicated about selling bags? That’s what I though anyway. I always made my monthly sales goals and always had perfect scores on surveys. The answer is 2 parts… we struggled to get a lot of the product for clients and corporate kept changing the types of sales goals, ie don’t sell canvas. And god forbid you don’t sell a trunk, trust me, people aren’t shopping for trunks even when you do your job and suggest it. These details of failure are made known every single day during your shift briefing. “We aren’t selling enough Mens shoes” “we are low on jewelry for the month” “omg focus on ready to wear” “that client was only $800 away from being 10k in one transaction, how did you not sell them 2 fragrances to hit that number” I’m not exaggerating… every single day we’d get beat up. Retail turn over is always high, but they actually pay decent money… but not enough for me to give up my sanity.

Nope! All canvas is the same commission. You can literally sell a petite Malle which is about 6k and the commission on that is $6. How deplorable

Every brand has an issue, including Chanel. Within the last 3-4 years I stopped shopping at LV, due to the quality and the way they treat their employees. Instead, I spent my money on Coach. Last week, I went back to LV and bought a couple of items, my re-entry to the brand. A zippy wallet (daughter) and a zippy coin purse (sister). I’d thought I’d give the brand one more try and see if the quality has changed for the better. Most likely, I won’t be shopping at LV again for a long long time.

This bag had a lot of quality issues with the lock. It was just skip open often. The thing about canvas is you never know and the advisors are literally trained to tell you “cracking canvas is part of wear and tear” 😔 it’s why I won’t get any canvas…. I want that Luna bag really badly but ugh cracking is no fun

I have the Victoire bag for two years now and I had no issues with the lock or canvas and I use her a lot.

I know you are asking Malli for her opinion but to answer you, I recommend Gucci. They have a great selection from as low as $395 to about $1600 and they are great quality and not too flashy if that's your thing. I will be getting white/beige Gucci Ophidia soon (one of many totes on my wishlist!) Definitely by the end of the year. Chanel IMO is going cray cray with new quotas and Hermes, you will always get quality-crafted bags.

2019? I mean that was almost 3 years ago so honestly prob nothing. If you had maybe called next day that would be fine. Locks are about 35 dollars though. U can purchase a new lock snd key

I bought a Speedy 20 in April. It only comes with the one strap. It would have been a deal breaker but I have a SpeedyB 30 and can use that strap. My main issue with the strap that the 20 comes with is that it is too short to use crossbody. I have strap extenders that I got on Amazon. I also have non LV/non Luxury straps that I use with it too.

Hi Diana, Lv is one of the luxury brands that never has discounts therefore they wouldn’t offer any kind of compensation. Hot stamping is a free service that they offer. Do you live near by a store? You cans take it in to get stamped there

Hey Mary, What is the item you are looking for? Also, you can call client services and request they make an appointment for you if your person isn’t responding. I would try once more. You never know they could be on vacation, days off etc

I go through the same thing. To me it comes down to respect. I just show up to the store because the stores do not connect well to client services.

Hey! I think I answered this question in this video. I’ll have to talk with friends they work there but if what you say is true then like Chanel, they are trying to cut down on resellers. If you can’t prove the bag is yours then they won’t touch it

When I look at LV bags now I feel as though I’m just trained to know where the issues will happen. That odeon tote is a pass. The pleating, no leather protection on the corners scream cracking canvas. I actually love the odeon pm & mm. The natural leather the canvas is actually already treated so you will be fine

A PCA is a glorified CA! They are expected to have more high end sales. ECA is a client advisor but they specialize in a product category. So a shoes ECA specializes in shoes and helps the shoe manager.

Hi there, No their isn’t a way to report a bag stolen at LV. Bags do come with the ID numbers but that’s for internal use of when the bag was made. People gift & resell things all the time so Lv isn’t taking that responsibility on as to how you got the bag. Sorry

Dubai has same prices as US. Plus they have taxes there now too. You can get part of it back but only if the store participates in the tax return thing. I forgot what they called it.
