My hubby just started OTR and I'm with him..BTW ,I'm Filipina and We have fridge,microwave,rice cooker,fryer etc.and I'm sure you will have those too if you want to cook and store some foods...

Make sure you are sitting all the way back in your seat with a straight up posture and relaxed. Especially while driving. Find the sweet spot in your chair and steering wheel set up. But def make sure you’re sitting with your back against the chair. We unconsciously sit up forward in our seat and we’re actually tensing you all those muscles in our upper back and neck area

I did exactly the same as your doing now so you are doing great ! study as much as you can on the permit test it’s hard to fail it when you study majority of it (: I downloaded an app to practice they have couple ones on the app store and a lot of those questions are the same on the actual test. and when it comes to maneuvers its all about just practice and practice until you get it right dont give up and if you make mistakes try a different method each person is different ((:

@@DavidMartinez-vx7zb yes well hardly at swift academy thats why I recommend going to a private school instead because I paid 6k at swift and we hardly even got any drive time I would say 3-4 times a day and it was from 8am-4pm 🤦🏻‍♂️ and no problem at all !(:

@@chez8239 unfortunately I don’t have the cash for that. I’m going through Schneider for my license. I got pre-approved for employment, now I only need to get my permit so I can start school in their facility.

@@chez8239 I learned on a manual but once I drove an automatic truck I never wanted to drive a manual one again lol. Too many things to have to worry about as well as shifting gears

hey bro straight back is easy just steer towards where the trailer is turning and you will correct it and should be able to straight back (: I remember our instructor said “steer towards the problem”

Most new drivers over steer in straight backing. Try to get your trailer and truck completely straight before reversing the truck. Then you should steer very lil in both directions as you are reversing, if you oversteer the truck will get away from the trailer too quickly then you’ll be what’s call chasing the trailer at that point, you want to avoid that. So steer very lil in whatever directions the trailer needs to go while you are straight backing. Best of luck to you

@@chez8239 no bro. Always when you do 30 minutes do off duty and when you do 34 reset always go off duty. Your boss should have a eld table on the truck you shouldn't have to use your phone.

@@nesliesutton4258 its tough because each state has different gym’s if that makes sense like in my area we have LA fitness and I hardly see them in other states :( I wish they are across the US but sadly some state have gyms that I never heard before and idk how much they would charge if you are not a member :(

@@mex13mex40 I drive full 11 hours pretty much I burn my full clock everyday, I take 30 min break after 7 hours of straight driving then do the rest afterwards, then I just shutdown any rest area for my 10 hour break ((: and thats great bro good luck and have fun be safe always !!
