How did that work? Did you complete the academy and with that completed your cdl or was it separate? Looking into doing it myself

@@michaelcaricofe1373 The way it for me was, I was put into a online class for week to get ready to take my CDL permit test, after I got my permit they put me on a bus to there academy in SLC, and it was a month long training and at the end of it they tested me to get my actual license and after that I was with a mentor for a month before I upgraded to solo

Thank you!!😁 and its hard to explain, but when I see I have a very limited space I try to do my 45 really close to where I’m trying to park so that way my trailer can be pointing to the spot if that even makes sense😂 doing it this way will let me have plenty of room no matter what because I cut it really early, I’ll try to mention it next time I do a tight 45 back it’s better to explain it while I’m doing it😂

Do you have your cdl? In school just back up as much as you can practice practice until you dream it. If you go really SLOW and watch for not going past the jackknife you will be able to figure out how to take that baby anywhere you want, watch them back tires (tandems) and your bumper, and of course get out and look for any obstacles, never take for granted that the way is clear. You can do it

Yes, that was a horrific incident, his training company should be taking some of that responsibility. They came down way too hard on him. I absolutely feel bad for the families of all involved, I just feel it should have been more along the lines of 8 to 10 total for the max on accidental manslaughter 4 counts. I've seen accidental manslaughter 1 count get like 2yrs. and they served 6 mos. with some public service...so he should have gotten something similar. GOD be with all the people on the roads. O ya, they didn't even lose their license!!!

are you talking about class C ? if so I had it for 7 years before I went to get my class A not so sure if they would be strict if you just got your class C you might need at least a year but im not 100% sure
