Thank you for giving us information about public domain books. I was wondering, is there a specific website where we can check a book's title and see if it is in the public domain?

Unfortunately not yet. I believe that New York Public Library is one of the organizations that are working on a system that will do this, But at the very moment, there is no such a system that will cover all the years. But if you are interested in conducting such a research on your own then PENN University has all the links to Copyright catalogues that holds all the information, but you would have to check the PDF's 'manually' so to speak, OCR will help in searching them, but still, if you would be looking for a particular title published in for ex. 1960, then you would have to check the 1960 Copyrights entries catalogue (or all for that year, as they sometimes are separated either by 6 monthly one or quarterly, unless you know the exact month of the publication), and verify whether the Copyright has been renewed or not.

I heard that the books are free in the public domain but to add new artwork, design elements and illustrations etc is integral to selling on amazon

Yes, you can do this, and many people are still doing it. Check Amazon KDP requirements for publishing Public Domain works, they are very precise about it.

"The Call of Chthulhu" was published in 1928, not 1926. It might still be public domain, but not because it expired this year.

Yup, I've seen that it was published on 1928, right on Wiki, however it is in the Public Domain, according to many sources, right along with many other short stories.

It all depends what you are uploading. But in general, RU-vid is a beast on it's own, and in many cases, no matter how many links, letters, or how good of a proof you will show that the work is in the Public Domain, if they want to take it down, or demonetize you, they will. Similar with eBay, Etsy, Amazon, etc. Over the years, on a couple of these platforms, some of my products were taken down, even though they were in Public Domain (Worldwide), yet other sellers were still selling them (different packaging, same content). There were no trademarks breaches or anything. I've submitted proofs, and for example Ebay they have accepted it and agreed that I indeed have a legal right to sell these, yet the listing wasn't reinstated. Sometimes algorithms are flagging the breaches, and when you get to Customer Services right of the bat you get to just 1st level CS Reps, so they do not know how to actually change it in the system, and they do not care / or they cannot push it further to 2nd or even 3rd level of support (and these guys they have power to change things within the system or at least they know who should they refer these cases to). Some works that are in Public Domain in US, might still be copyrighted outside of USA, so there might be many reasons. You cannot exclude the fact that a competitor has just reported you, and RU-vid has to investigate these things. If you are publishing copyrighted material on RU-vid, the whole removal process works even faster.

You need to create a junk journal by yourself from what is available. Once you create from Pubic Domain materials, yes, you can resold. But there are not ready made blank junk journals that are in the Public Domain that you can resell.

Make a list what type of planner you want to create, what graphics you'll need, what fonts will pair nicely with this planner and check my videos, you'll find many sources for separate planner components. What you need to do is to put them together.
