you lucky bugga. of all the people i want to meet before i kick off this planet it would be john. i love some of his music, i hate some of it but i respect him for all of it
Aye so did I in Airdrie Glasgow. I'd waited soooo long to see him. Nearly 50 years. I didn't think he'd be talking about his wife 50% of the time but it was interesting. See when he was telling us about Sid running over to his favourite band abba then spewing on them... I buckled laughing. 😂
I'm going to see him tomorrow can't wait. Thank you muchly John for coming to Scotland 🏴 Was due to see him when he came to my home town but lockdown happened. I have to travel this time but who cares? I've waited 45 years to meet this genius.
@shonamcwilliam2842 saw him in Porthcawl. Him and Rambo were absolutely amazing, took time to speak to people. Very talented, interesting and inteligent man.
@@shonamcwilliam2842 hope you enjoyed them seen them in 1983 and 86 in Liverpool and Preston cool don't like every song but most of it is top stuff , interesting to be fair love this it's insane and funny good beat too.
Fantastic! What the world needs now is another PIL UK tour! Met John last month in Monmouth. Dream come true for me. John is a lovely gentleman and true star. Thanks again John for a wonderful evening of fun and laughter. 🌟 ❤ 🌟 ❤️
Pistols are such a joke now. Some twat from an Indie band, Steve the Diddler, Glenn the GIRO Chaser and Paul "The Most Uninteresting Man In The History Of Music" Cook. They're nothing without John. Glad he's still making new music while they rehash the past for another easy paycheque.
Omg Rambo's sway is so on point. I remember him doing that. Made me smile, chuckle and well up all together. RIP. I love how overall John is more mellow and mature in PIL than in Pistols but how every now and then Mr Rotten reappears! Makes it all feel more real than if he appeared too differently in each band or if he was only one person all the time. Genuine and perfectly on point to the core 👌
That is a great detail. In my observation, the most interesting writer/singers can't remember their lyrics for some reason. Not sure if it is the ADHD that many of them seem to have or what the reason is. Michael Stipe is one that always had a music stand as well.
“None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” Romans 3:10-12
The world needs people like John ... This song can stand for itself, why the references? No need for that... Never mind what's over... Great Video anyway
Ok this is really good! loved the show in Lausanne last year. I hope you're all doing fine. and r.i.p. to all the beloved ones that are not here anymore.
And greetings from the USA! Best wishes, I hope conflict does not get worse. YES- this is just a music vid. But compelled to note that not everybody in America thinks Ukraine-Good, Russia-Bad. I'm sure it's much more COMPLICATED.
