It's funny how some people say that Poland got all those points because of a high number of Polish immigrants all over Europe. We've been taking part in ESC for over 20 years and if it was true, we would have always been in top10. Surprise, it hardly ever happened, even when there only was public voting which counted. And in addition, we've got two 12s - from Austria and Belgium, which are not the most common destinations for Polish people, compared to e.g. UK.

Hungary and Poland were two of my several favourites but the jury didn't like them. And everybody knows why. It's disgusting how politics ruin things like friendship between people etc.... While I saw in comment sections of a lot of video how people like these two songs (along with others, of course). We can see the big difference between our and the jury's voting. (And just a thing about Australia: it's a good song but why the hell is it so overrated? It's EUROvision.)

They should eliminate the juries vote. As you can see they are strictly political! People really know what is the best song!

Poland is the best! To be honest his song wasn't very good but Michal Szpak is an amazing singer with such a powerful voice. Just listen how he sings 'dream on', it will blow your mind!

That contest should be about talent and the best song not politics. The jury definetely was biased.

It's really annoying that commentator from BBC kept saying "the Ukraine". Ukraine is independent country, we don't need to use the article with its name.

It's ridiculous - Poland and Austria were massive disadvantaged by the Jury. Australia and Ukraine were favored in an incorrecte way.

Although I am not a fan of Ukraine's song,I'm honestly happy that they won considering the fact that they ALWAYS send amazing songs to Eurovision,and they always lose to some other more economically and politically developed countries.For that,I am really glad. On the other hand,something that really managed to irritate me is how the juries treated Poland.They gave Poland the least amount of points so they scored LAST according to the juries vote...but according to televoting they got 3RD place,3RD! It's not the first time the juries mess up with Poland! It happened in 2014 as well. Also,for me the best song this year was by far Russia's.It's the only song that got stuck in my head for days,and a song that I actually like to listen to over and over again (not to mention those awesome visuals they used for their live performance). I don't have anything against Australia,they had a very powerful song and singer (and it was among my favourites),but they were CLEARLY and undeniably favorised by the juries in comparison to some other countries like Hungary (who had a really good entry as well). Well...I guess I'm happy for Bulgaria and France too.These might be their best results from the past 10 years!

May I just say I think Australia were robbed, looking back on the winner (I can't remember what country won because obviously not memberable to me) although she was singing in English I could not understand a word she was saying, and I didn't realise the song was personal until I was told... And if she wanted it to be personal why didn't she sing the bits she didn't pronounce as well in her language to put another nod toward the feeling of it and then the parts in English like other acts did... Not only that but her voice technically wasn't good, between the breaks the cracks it made it even harder for me to understand, on the other hand Australia brought an emasculate performance to the stage, minimalistic, beautiful well sung and she had such an amazing voice, and to the people saying 'well Australia aren't even a part of Europe' or 'she won xfactor' that means nothing. She was still a contestant like everyone else she had caught to get here like everyone else

Do not let others (jealous, greedy etc) to tell you what you can not do, go on your way as you have achieved quite a lot to prove that you can do more :-) congratulations, well deserved

Bulgaria is first, who congratulate Ukraine. Thank you, Bulgaria. Poli Genova was charming and beautiful on this Eurovision. I like her song! From Ukraine.

All these people saying "the juries are corrupt" make me laugh --- the reintroduction of juries has meant that quality songs have returned to the competition and there is infinitely less attention-grabbing gimmickry than before. When it was purely based on televotes (1998 - 2008), the voting was innately political, as neighbours and diaspora across Europe just voted for the "most obvious" choice, with no regard to the actual song or performance itself. Ireland, for example, used to systematically attribute 12 points to the likes of Latvia, Lithuania or Poland, simply because of the large expat communities living there. The juries have brought back some objectivity to the contest, and it's all the better for it... as for Russia. Some people make it out as though it were an unsung masterpiece. The song itself was very dated. It was entirely propped up by the neat visuals and striking choreography, but it ultimately had zero meaning (unlike the Ukrainian song). The juries obviously based their decision on artistic merit (insofar as that is possible with mainstream pop music), as music professionals do. Simple as that.
