There should be one more scenario where you are standing first at the intersection and its red. But EV is behind you so what shud u do when you dont have any space to move right? Either you can cross the intersection a little and pull to right within intersection or cross the intersection completely and pull to the right? This is a tricky situation
If in the US, I would ideally look to make sure no one is coming, and then pull out into intersection to the right to get out of the EV's way. Then, since I'm now blocking the intersection I'll go ahead and finish by driving onto the road I'm now aiming at. Then I'll re-route as needed. I can't imagine any reasonable cop would ticket me for that unless there was some law dictating specifics that the locale/cop deemed important. If I can't turn right, then I'll go left or wherever I can go. It might mean pulling forward out of the way and then going straight, or pulling forward and then backing up to return to where I was if another driver hasn't taken my spot. Summarized: just do your best to get out of the way, prioritize getting out of the way over normal traffic law, and try not to cause a wreck doing so. You can assume those lights and sirens are for something way more important than you breaking the rules to let them through.
I'm in Canada and a similar situation happened while I was getting home from an in car lesson. The instructor picked up another student and got her to drive on the way back to my place and that's when This happened. She didn't know what to do either and she was on the left lane of our side. The instructor told her to pull over to the left since we couldn't enter the intersection and wouldn't be able to pull to the right safely. Ig the point is to make space for the emergency vehicle to pass safely considering the circumstances 🤔
If traffic has stopped at the intersection when the people who have a green light stop, then you can pull into the intersection and move to the right. If you're in the right lane and it is safe to do so, make a right turn.

Pull out in the intersection if its safe to do so. If not remain calm and give the fire truck space as soon as possible. (not a firefighter just had this happen to me one time.)
If you can't pull either way and can't move forward, move over if and when you can. If you have a 4 lane with no median or if it is a road with 2 lanes each direction and a turn and no traffic is coming, stop. We will go around you.
When safe move right at least a little bit will help and will signal to the emergency driver you are paying attention and trying to get out the way. Obviously they don’t want you to crash…
I was in a situation where I was stopped at a red light in the left lane. The ambulance was coming up behind me, I could see it coming for a block. I was watching them and watching for the light to turn green and trying to think of where I would go to get out of the way. The light was still red, I pulled forward to the right in front of the car that was next to me. As I did, so, the light turn green in the car to my Right, took off and rear ended me and I got blamed.
@@danielgoodman3578 the driver insisted on calling the police instead of exchanging insurance information. Then the cops came and said I was the one at fault, but they were not going to ticket me because of the circumstances.

If I'm on a 4 lane highway if u guys r going against me can I just stay in the far right lane on coming side or do I have 2 stop or can I keep moving I live in southern Oregon I only stop at intersections or if u guys r on my side other than that I stay far right and slow down and use my right blinker
What do you do when you’re waiting for a green light at a intersection in the left lane, and an emergency vehicle comes from behind you? If I were to have processed my car would have entered the intersection, should I have entered the intersection and pulled over? And what do you do when you’re following a emergency vehicle in front of you with good distance in the left lane, and it suddenly turn on its lights but no sirens and pulls over to the shoulder and proceeds to make a U turn cutting across four lanes of traffic on a very busy street? (This was at night) When following a emergency vehicle and it turns on its lights, or sirens, do I still need to pull over? Thank you.
The whole point of pulling over is to clear/ensure a path for the emergency vehicle with lights and sirens going, prioritizing that vehicle's destination over your own. If you're behind it and it turns around, just stay out of its way.
Unfortunately Had To Watch This, Because I Got Pulled Over Last Night For Not Yielding. Basically What Happened Was, There Was A Parked Cop With Red & Blue Lights On My Right, & I'm In The Right Lane. After I Pass, The Cop Starts Driving Behind Me, With It's Lights Turned Off, & I Don't Change Lanes. Then Next Thing I Know, I See Red & Blue Lights, & I Pull Over To The Side. He Comes Up To Me, & At First I Thought I Was Getting Pulled Over For Speeding. But No, The Cop Said I Was Actually Driving The Speed Limit, Which Lessed My Concern. Then The Cop (Who Probably Knew I Didn't Know What I Did Wrong) Told What Happened, & Informed Me What To Do When An Emergency Vehicle Approaches For Future Reference.
When I see emergency vehicles coming, I like to do what the cops do the fire department when they arrive on scene and just pull up wherever the hell I want. 👍

If it's a 4 lane road and a vehicle or vehicles can pull to that slow lane to get out of the way why must they come to a stop on the side of the road ( slow lane) as well? You talk about more of a traffic jam and right of way to pull off and resume driving and such lol.
The thing is, trains CAN'T stop for emergency vehicles unless given at least a 5 minute warning so they can stop before crossings, like for example if a terrorist attack or a major shorrting, etc happens and the route police need to take uses a crossing then the emergency services may contact the railway manager to stop a train or so to allow emergency traffic. I've never heard of this actually happening so i'm just speculating.

Depends where you are. In the UK drivers of emergency vehicles have no speciakl priviledge and are bound by the same rules as all other road users. As such other road users are not obliged to do anything. In practice drivers give way and don't impede the emergency vehicle, but only if it is safe to do so. If you cause an accident while giving way to an emergency vehicle you have no real defence in court . Most judges will take a lenient view but you will probably be found guilty.
From what I understood, if you're on one side, pull to the right. But if you're stopped in the middle ready to turn, just stay where you are; because anything you do will make it worse.
Why would you pull over if the other vehicle is on the opposite side of the road and it's four lanes it's stupid you're putting other people in danger the emergency vehicle clearly has room to travel
to clear the road and allow them clear road. it is a respect thing , people could be dying .or serious injury . allow them to also reach safely . RESPECT
Because that emergency vehicle may need to turn left into a road, driveway, parking lot, etc. If you don't stop, they can't safely turn. Not stupid at all. Think it through better.
