His dad probably stopped asking as Andrew got the Hitachi excavator. XD Well, if its true what Andrew said that he just tries to get a Cat 988 then his dad surely has one question: "Did you lost your mind son?" XD
I feel Andrew loves that excavator. Good reasons too. Easy to maintain, likely doesn’t suck as much diesel as his other machines, the nimble size makes it compact and maneuverable, it’s quiet, it’s likely easy to work, and it’s strong for its size.
@@simesimicevic8713 Not too sure; I should know considering I’ve been a subscriber for this channel for over 4 years now, but I think you’re correct. Andrew has a video from a while back where I think he fixes the hydraulics or grease fittings... Just some cool little videos I recommend you to watch ;)
Yup, I used to be able to do all the things you do back about 40 years ago but the years go by fast and the older you get the faster they get. great video thanks
Well, Wayne, I agree. I'm 77 and sometimes wonder how I ever had the nerve and was able to do the things I used to do. And, when I did them I never gave it a second thought. It was not a big deal, just normal stuff.
It's a tool, Andrew collects useful tools capable of doing work. You only do to a tool the maintenance and repairs required to keep the tool in serviceable condition, for work. Then he has the funds to go get other tools and/or toys.
Hello Andrew, don't change a thing;your style is unic and original. We can feel your passion for the machine and the mechanic. I wonder sometime if you like it when it brake...this way you can repair it .lol. Great video, thanks for your nice work.
Us, too - this guy is brilliant!!! He's our favorite 💓 my hubby & I got a notification for a video from another channel & started it. After about 2 minutes, we both said, Andrew's better, & we started watching his videos again!! Truly, none better! We just found him yesterday. 💃🕺💃🕺
I’ve been subscribed for a long time and ever time I watch your videos my depression goes away for the length of the video. Thank you Andrew I truly mean it
Super happy for you and your new to you loader! Over the years of watching your videos, you have inspired me to come out of medical retirement, 12yrs disabled and try and start my own dirt, brush and cleanup company at 48 yrs old.
I’m going to cry w/Andrew when Levi goes to puppy heaven. Had a 15 year old lab, Lola G, they truly are one of Gods gifts. It’s painful to loose such innocence 🥲
@@KP-ne3re Will cry as well KP. Just lost my better half - my beautiful wonderful son (my doggie) - a few weeks back. When I see poor Levi having trouble moving around, my heart breaks. All the best to you ! RIP beautiful Lola.
Andrew goes from the huge wheel loader to the clapped out.... sloppiest bucket....but still runs like a champ mini ex he’s had forever! Gotta love his resourcefulness and drive to get any job done....
Andrew, I enjoy your videos, the drone adds a unique perspective to your projects. Cody says "look at all those sticks," Levi says "better hurry before they're all gone!"😅🤣😂
awesome demonstration of your new tool (wheeled loader) for the perfect way to deal with a tree like that! Nice wire walking too, and that drone sequence at 8:15 was really nice. Thanks for sharing.
Andrew, Love your videos! So how many pieces of hvy equp do u have? I have lost count! So 7 excavators, 3 skidd steers, 2 or 3 loaders, 1 D4 Dozier...that big orange fork lift spectacular handler, 1 Ford 18(?)HP tractor, all kinds of implements for skidd steer & excavator. I assume you have most of them out on jobs,rentals,leases...+ 2 dump trucks, Dodge diesel pkup truck, several trailers to haul your HD equip...wow! It's just amazing to see how fast you have grown & how effective you are at managing/operating your equip for the tasks at hand, but also simultaneously operating the overhead Droan to film your work real-time & have time to show all of us your fine dogs, Levei & Cody. You are a pleasure to watch!!👨🔧👍😁 you are very talented! Enjoy your Blessings!👍😁
I always appreciate how much you care for your equipment Andrew, you’re a ( Mr.Fixit)! Keep up the good work brother! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 yeah I’ve checked on those ratchets and haven’t found any yet! I’ll keep looking my friend!
Ehhh personally I don’t. He has said multiple times in videos he will never build anything out of wood because the only thing wood is good for is fires. And he sells his trees to a local sawmill. Also mentioned that in a video.
@@andrewsander5971 And his friend Jesse Muller - who has his own RU-vid channel and been on several of AC's vids - has a millingmachine not far away, so he can just ask Jesse to mill for him if needed,
Had a ton of *nostalgia* seeing him using his old green mini excavator on this little job. That old girl was in the very first video I watch of Andrew when he used it in *culvert pipe driveway* video, with the *drainage issue* . Go try to find it, it's a great video.
I must confess I‘m a tool guy who‘s been looking with light envy at your ratchets since i’ve discovered your channel, many moons ago. Living in Europe so not making myself any dreams of getting them and at a reasonable price… The 3 key factors with these is that a. they’re uni-directional. This prevents integration of some directional switch, causing it to be less tough/sturdy, b. the well visible mechanism allows it to be greased properly, reducing wear, and c. they mechanism is seemingly a bit overdimensioned for a tool that size, allowing higher loads in principle, so assuming the materials and build quality are of high enough level, these things are ment to last and will with most last a lifetime when treated well ! And that for 9,99….unbelievable 😳🙄 For those feeling left out…. a bit more expensive but what through the years became my best option… the ratchets with the push-through pin on which the nut is put. Unidirectional as well, the ones i mean tend to have a closed housing and just need some light oil every now and then on the outside to prevent rust and keep them going. I can recommend strongly the RAHSOL one, a cheaper brand from GEDORE which doesn’t sacrifice on sturdyness, just finish, or Gedore themselves. My oldest is from 1990 and has been abused a lot. including using log steel pipes as extension, full-on hammering with a 5 KG hammer on it, etc. What rusty cars and lack of knowledge & better tooling make you do as young adult ;) It still lives, even if it has minimal play meanwhile, has been loaded well beyond 600 NM’s for certain and has become my sort of lucky ratchet [GRIN] If anyone knows better alternatives, happy to hear, never too old to learn !
Wheel loader sounds good. I've never run one. Anything that's that size with that kind of speed has got to be awesome. I see someone found a perfect stick. I bet that cool soft soil feels good on Levi's legs. They are lucky, lucky dogs.
Cool video good detail from above , below , and up close repair. Andrew doing it right once again. Thank you for including Levi, Cody , and their cousin. Hugs for Levi and Cody ❤
I know Levi has a Bday coming up...he will be 15! If dogs could talk....just imagine what all he would have to say...he has led a life all dogs should get to live...boating, wave running, snowmobiling, ATV, heavy construction equipment, snow plowing....and he lives in a castle! I hope Cody is ready for what's ahead!
Levi is most certainly looking and feeling his age. I would keep him on aspirin for the rest of his life right now, he would feel a lot better. Give in the morning food and stop at evening, it would help him a lot to feel more comfortable... Good vid Andrew as usually.
You just accomplished with a loader and excavator what most people would do with a 1500 and a chainsaw. But I'm still Jealous and would no doubt do it the same if I had the equipment.
Always like that excavator, it can pick up a lot of weight, thanks for sharing nice to see Levi, the tree was no match for the payloader, Enjoy the long weekend.
Hi Andrew, you need to give Jesse a call and let him know that you have hickory logs to use when he ready to smoke those feeder pigs he had recently purchased! :D
Great job as always, Andrew. One little tip - Popular Mechanics Magazine did a test of bolt looseners and the top dog winner was a 50/50 mix of automatic transmission fluid and acetone. The ATF is used only as a carrier for the acetone. Shake each time before squirting from an old soap squeeze bottle. It will eat through rust like a miracle.
Gotta give Andrew props: he does a stellar job at recording and editing his videos, especially considering he's a one man show. His skills as a videographer have improved along with his equipment- as well as his ability to drive anything with wheels or tracks, while steering with one hand and a holding a gimbal stick with the other!
NICE JOB ANDREW NICE TO SEE LEVY AGAIN. HE'S STILL HANGING IN THERE. I GOT A LOT OF MEMORIES WITH HIM . NICE DOG. WE ALL GOING TO MISS HIM. WHEN THE TIMES COMES. I KNOW HOW YOU LOVES HIM. MY PASSED AWAY 3 YEARS AGO AND I STILL MISSED HIM. SALUDOS AND HAVE A NICE WEEKEND. G.B.Y.
Was I the only one humming The Devil Went Down To Georgia while he was sawing through the Hickory stump? 😅 Except no fiddle playing here. The excavator master at work. The biggest machine to pull it down and the smallest to stack it up
It’s awesome to see the love that you have for your beautiful dogs. I think Cody has all the energy and Levi’s the wise old man lol. Keep up the great videos Andrew we love your whole family and wish you the best.
