PURC Symposium at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke 

Students of all disciplines participate in the Pembroke Undergraduate Research and Creativity program. They partner with faculty mentors and receive funding for their research and to attend conferences to present their research. Some projects span multiple years and expand even after PURC.
This year a record number of undergraduate researchers presented at the annual PURC Symposium, hosted at the Mary Livermore Library. For many, it's their first public presentation experience and builds confidence that leads to state, national and international conference presentations.
