Double check your measuring tape inches are correct too, some of the cheaper retractable tapes have incorrect inch lengths, so even though its marked 1 inch it may be 1 and 1/8.

Have one set of balls with ginham, floral, dots etc, another with a colour and another with a project like pencil case, tote bag, cushion cover, make up bag, top etc. Then you make the combo. Like a pink floral bag or a brown gingham top :)

Little FYI for you in case you didn't know. When you were showing the list of items from your order at the bottom, it says price adjustment. When it says that you can get money back from your order. Might only be a couple of cents, but I've gotten back over $50 from all my orders doing that. And you can get money back multiple times for the same item. Just check every few days, and you can only do it for 30 days after you place the order.

Omgg the gathering presser foot is an absolute game changer! I was doing ruffles the way you were before trying this! It’s so easy to use, super fast and consistent which I love. I use a long stitch and tighten the upper tension 🩷

The vending machine is cute. You could use that at markets like a lucky dip. Have numbers in the balls that the customer can put the token in and receive then have numbered baskets that match. they choose what color item out of the basket with that same number.

You need shirring elastic not the type you bought. And you need to hand roll onto the bobbin. And your industrial should be able to do it. Just set on a long stitch length.

That is NOT stirring elastic. It’s hat elastic. Stirring elastic comes on a normal reel,like cotton. Please do NOT load your bobbin with hat elastic.You can use hat elastic to shir the back of dresses by zig zagging over the hat elastic and gathering up before you sew the side seams.
