I love his videos because he speaks plainly. Too many of these RU-vid guys get SO technical in explaining every nuance of a muscle for five minutes, and only then do they do two reps to show you. It’s like reading a university textbook, and they lost my attention one minute into their speech. Wesley talks simple and clearly, all the while showing himself doing the movements. He does not take five minutes to explain something that can be explained in one minute.
Finding my second youth hitting the gym again at an older age, i really like your videos. The way you describe the exercises and how they affect the muscles are just excellent, its really great and inspiring. Keep it up !

I love looking at men working out . I get nervous to ask them for pointers and don’t want to come off as flirting . I just admire them getting that big .
Triceps are the best responder on my body, they've grown allot and each one now is fully defined, then biceps second, probably muscle memory from a teenager when I worked out before, I enjoy using the rose grips the most, and really feel that burn.
Wesley is already working on what he needs to I guarantee he will be one of the top biggest threats for the Arnold classic physique next year and I already cant wait!
You should try out some Incline Triceps Cable Pushdowns. Set up an incline bench, backed up against the cable stack. Sit back on the bench and reach behind and pull down the cable (rope or bar works). Tuck the elbows to the side and experience the insane stretch and burn during the pushdown. Amazing!
Cable kick backs for the long head. Bend over till your back is just above parallel to the floor, rest supporting hand on your thigh, make sure the elbow of the arm doing the kick back is at least in line with the back or even better slightly above the back, killer.
I like Wesley a lot and I admire his work and determination. Such a young guy with so many accomplishments. The overly exaggerated voice is overkill though. In mute all the time.

Hey Wesley! Awesome channel dude I love it! If I may offer a tip ! I’d suggest the approach you begin integrating this technique into your program is to start by using it on the single arm tricep extension. Ok so first perform the tricep push down. Then with a fully straightened arm in line with your body (from a side view) extend your arm back behind your body flexing the tricep and scapula simultaneously. This works because the long head is actually attached to the scapulae and therefore this is the full range of motion of the muscle. What you’re already doing is great keep doing it it is great for medial tricep development. Straightening the elbow whilst keeping the arm still in space will mostly only work your medial tricep as it attaches to your upper arm. Using your triceps with your scapulae by trying the exercise I just described will incorporate the long head into the equation. I hope this helps! I know it helped me. Those triceps are looking massive brother! With consistent training and hard work your triceps will catch up! Your conditioning looks superb even though it's the off season!
Thanks for the video, my biceps/triceps ratio has been way off all my life so I’ll be trying these things. The thought of just a triceps day seems very foreign to me - been doing chest/tris day forever .. I’ll try it though .. the philosophy of doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results = insanity.

The long head of the triceps funtions are, extending the elbow AND extending the arm posturally! You've missed the last function imo in this workout. Exercises like the tricep kickback is great, and it can work with different angles and with cables, dumbbells or bars. Preferably unilateral and with cables because of the 2 function of the long head.
I've watched you over past couple years. You are always improving. Just don't get the Adonis complex. Just keep working hard and give it time. You still have muscle maturity to look forward to And that will come in your 30's. Lol so don't sweat it. Facts you made alot of improvement and your triceps are coming along fine. I’m curious why he didn’t do any overhead movements, being that he wants to prioritize the long head. Standing 2 hand cable overhead extension is fantastic.
Wesley if u don't mind me giving u a bit of old school advice for tricep size do close grip bench or close grip smith machine press. Strict form which u definitely have. Good luck w your training
When doing the reverse curls I notice pulling from your index finger and middle finger hits the muscle differently. Hits more of the top of outside of the bracialis
Slightly Declined using dumbells for tricep extensions/crushers as well as kick backs that you are declined below paralell when bent over but turn wrist upwards pinky to wrist these will hitt more direct on triceps not assist muscles
some guys, the close grip works more shoulders....I've never gotten good results from those...isolation exercises are best, at least for me...dips do work well, if you really isolate the tris....
Have you thought of intensification techniques, you may like mountaindog1’s channel (ex ifbb pro), who uses partials and iso holds at the end of last set for example for extra overload.
