The Purrfect Pouch is a pattern designed and sold by me! There are two versions: the original, which features a zippered pocket in the front and a slightly deeper size profile and the production edition, which was designed with fewer pattern pieces and frills for quicker production.

omgggg Figment! He's my absolute favorite. My parents had a magnet with him on their fridge and I took it with me when I moved to Vegas muahahaha. Watching your videos keeps making me want to make bags. Which I keep telling myself I will do, but I want to work on finishing my Switch dust cover pattern first. I've tried making it out of card stock and stuff but the pattern is never even despite using my Fiskar rulers.

Love this pattern. Thank you for the video. Now I’ll know what I’m doing for the next 20 I make. They are great sellers. What size fold-over elastic do you use? I would like to try it yours looked so nice.

I use 1"! Any smaller and it seems fussier to deal with than I'd like.

If I use WPC for lining and exterior, do I need any interfacing? Can't wait to get a bunch of these knocked out.

You might want something on the exterior just to make it a smidge more stable.

I’m assuming that you used the PU waterproof canvas because you laser cut it? Did you get it from fabricdirect? I have not done anything with a waterproof canvas lining yet, although I ordered a bunch of it, because I’m worried about the weight of it and how hard it might be to sew.

Yes, I used the PU because of the laser. I use both PVC and PU. Sometimes it makes sense to laser cut, but not every time because of the bag size or if it's a 1-off. I don't want to digitize *every* pattern I have even if they're my own lol! The PU waterproof is pretty lightweight, but still hefty enough that I don't feel the need to interface it. The PVC has a much more obvious rubberized backing to it. Neither I feel are too heavy for sewing on a domestic sewing machine. It's when you get into super hefty stuff like vinyl, duck cloth, and multiple layers that it gets bad for a domestic machine.

No :( The production edition is slightly changed to accommodate the lack of the front zip pocket. I sell the acrylic template on my shop (fiercekitten.com) for $20.
