Puscifer - Bullet Train To Iowa (REACTION!) 

In regards to Ryan's love for transitions, nuances, grooves and interest in Maynard's 3 amazing bands. I'd love to see these guys react to A Perfect Circle's "The Noose". That song has ALL KINDS of sick groove/drop ins and outs. Not sure how much a youtube public comment/suggestion is taken notice to, (not a Patreon member)...but meaning to. Been subscribed to the youtube channel for a couple years if that counts. :) Please consider this suggestion. Anyone else with me on this one??

Bedlamite was amazing as well. They had a virtual concert that has since been taken down, but it was a performance of the full album. It was one of the most amazing performances I have seen. Hoping for a Blu-ray release.

This is one of those albums that sounds strange at first but it then grows on you.

This whole album is amazing to me. Don't see a lot of love for Bread and Circus, but it's my favorite. At least for today.

Check out the humbling river by Puscicer. There are some serious vibes in that one. A lesson to be learned for this country as well

I would watch an entire Maynard Music Marathon!

Personally, I loved “Apocalyptical” and I wasn’t a Puscifer fan until listening to that song. And the music video was entertaining.

That concert stream they did was DOPE, wish you all could have seen that.

I highly recommend The Mission (feat Milla Jovovich), Holiday On The Moon and Queen B by Puscifer.

I really liked this! Puscifer has never really grabbed me like Tool and A Perfect Circle, but this sounded great! Gonna check out the new album tomorrow.

Also, Humbling River is one of my faves from Puscifer.

"Creative but not overindulgent" is a great way to describe Puscifer and Tool, in general. I think Maynard is very respectful of his audience and understands that his audience is smarter than most people think. My favorite Puscifer song is "Conditions of My Parole". It's different, but I love it.

This is the first time, you have actually steered me towards exploring a new band. I have heard most all of what you review, but have not heard this band or song. Thank you for keeping your mind open towards the many versions of good music.

"Momma Sed" has a groove you guys could get behind. Also try legendary Canadian rockers, The Tragically Hip. Most any song would be good but a good place to start would be "blow at high dough", "new orleans is sinking" or "locked in the trunk of a car".

If people do not get it this song is about taking an ayahuasca trip ...bullet train to iowa..ska soon going to be a while before I touchback down ..I highly recommend playing UpGrade first they go together ....all in all the whole albulm is great

The way Mr Keenan drops vocals adds another dimension to his tender voice, enveloping melodies and delicate lyrics. "A Singularity" is another amazing song from this album.

Halfway through the video and I've had a realization. Tool is kind of like Picasso plus M.C. Escher depending on the song. Puscifer is like Salvador Dali.

This song is incredible. The syncopation between the vocals, instruments, and time signature is unreal. One of my favorite songs.

30 sec into the track and I was hooked on Puscifer.

This album is fantastic! Puscifer is a highly underrated band. Their last album was a masterpiece as well.

Took me 3 years to see this, but DAMN! The smile on Ryan's face before the first break.... I can't wait to hear what he says.

“fluidity” is the word that comes to mind every time I hear/ feel this song.

Ryan when you listen to the song a couple of more times your feet tap and head starts to bob with the odd time signature. So you then actually start to groove with the song.

Still waiting on "Descending" by Tool. Its my favorite of their entire catalog

Wow! I was just listening to the album myself! Since "Money Shot" MJK has obviously finished and released the Tool album and another A Perfect Circle album... man never rests! And It's all insanely good/borderline genius! Legend!! btw I absolutely hated Apocalyptical and thought it was trash when I heard it (by far Maynard's worst ever release) but now that I've listened to the album a couple of times and it's "under my skin" and I have gone on the full journey... I now love Apocalyptical too. It makes sense on the grander scheme of things on an album platform.

Hi guys! First off, @Lost In Vegas, imho your channel is EXACTLY what RU-vid is supposed to be about! Open ears and open minds, and VERY entertaining to boot! I've had such a great time watching you guys light up to songs that I've held close to my heart for so many years. Totally refreshing to hear other music lovers such as yourselves give their own take on music others among us have maybe started to take for granted. I would be really, really interested to hear/watch you check out a song called "The Charm Offensive" off of the album "Everyone Into Position" by a band called Oceansize. In a similar way to Puscifer, this song takes you on a very interesting musical/textural "journey" across the course of about 7 and a half minutes. Seeing them perform it live was a quasi-religious experience! lol. Sadly they're no more, but thankfully their albums and songs live on! :) Keep up the good work @Lost In Vegas, you guys are the best. Big props from London, UK.
