Hey guys! I'm trying out a slight change in the format and thumbnail presentation today. Let me know what you think.

Yes that’s cool! It’s a bit like I do, presentation of the plane with CG and Lipos, rates etc that’s what people likes I think 😜

Awesome flying and informative. I like the fact you show the hand control while flying. Adding the wind speed of the day in your the videos description would be plus for viewers.
@TwoBrosRC
@TwoBrosRC 2 года назад
Winds that day were 7 mph sustained with 15 gusts. Thanks!

I setup YOUR 'snap flap' yesterday at the field on my nite timber x. Soooooo much easier NOW to get into hover, & really helps my KEFS immensely! 👍

Been doing high alpha'd in my e-flite A-10. It's nuts!
@rlbutterfield

Left stick doing most of the work. 👍🏻
@TwoBrosRC
@TwoBrosRC 2 года назад
Once it's nose-up with the elevator to crow mix (alpha mix), all that's needed is fine tuning with rudder and throttle.

@@TwoBrosRC will Tony dose a amazing job keeping it center frame and rock steady and the close up and person zooming one of the best if not the best 👍 and the flying I have said it before your stick and rudder skills are impressive to say the least and the little window showing your stick movement clear speaking the best 👍✌️

So glad you enjoy, my man. Wait until you see the Extra footage if you think this is good.

Good video! Nice flying, Jon. Noticed you’re holding full elevator (without much aileron input), and using rudder to control roll and direction.
@TwoBrosRC
@TwoBrosRC 2 года назад
Yep! Aileron input works but ultimately what I'm doing is using an elevator to crow mix which keeps the ailerons pointed up to create washout at the wingtips which allows the jet to fly in a high angle of attack. More testing will be needed to get it to fly inverted as well as it does in high alpha.
@sightline4004
@sightline4004 2 года назад
Wouldn't tailerons give a massive boost in pitch authority at high AoA?
@TwoBrosRC
@TwoBrosRC 2 года назад
No, because tailerons would only affect roll, not pitch. They're marginally useful on this model.
@sightline4004
@sightline4004 2 года назад
@@TwoBrosRC Tailerons/elevons, I'm not sure what the common name is but just two independently controlled tail surfaces. Like this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UW-FecWK_Jk.html

This jet has them. It's not effective in high alpha.

Hi Jon, do you still have your 80mm F16? If you can high alpha like this on the 90mm Viper, would love to see your skills on a F16 video.
@TwoBrosRC
@TwoBrosRC 2 года назад
I don't, unfortunately. A friend of mine had the sticks and flew it into a piece of rebar which sheared off the wing. I didn't feel like buying replacement parts. I do have one coming in to demo for Hangar 18, though, so I'll be flying it again hopefully before the month is over along with the new Commander from E-flite. Alpha on the F-16 is a little trickier though because the airframe is pretty heavy for its size. I know it can be done, I've seen others perform it on YT. I'll do some tests before committing.

How many channels is your receiver? All servo's individually? Very nice flights!
@TwoBrosRC
@TwoBrosRC 2 года назад
This is on an 8ch receiver. The ailerons and elevators are separated, but the flaps are tied together and the nosewheel is bound to the rudder. Thanks!

@@TwoBrosRC Ok perfect! Maybe you know: How do I get the flaps and ailerons of m MIG 29 on seperate channels? There's a sort of FC controller and do not know how to wire properly. Thanks :)

@@TwoBrosRC Thanks Jon. What l understand is you start from 0 in the receiver. I don’t understand much about all those programming. I just want simple flying. Is ok just to remove electronics from viper and flying the f22 or l need to make adjustments on safe or put other jet like f15 file on the receiver to be able to fly . Sorry ,maybe not the best place to ask this but l find not other place to get that information.
@TwoBrosRC
@TwoBrosRC 2 года назад
@@1.3m.7 You'd need to make adjustments before flying - it's not really possible to go out of the box on a PnP model.
