This patreon-submitted deck is built around Metamorphosis to turn 4 drops into powerhouse 5 drop initiative creatures. We can just spew out zero mana frogmites and 1 mana refurbished familiars and pump out some fatties for emblem gaming!

Match 1 is exactly how I hoped the deck would work. Sadly can't have it like that all the time. Haven't watched the whole video yet, I hope it worked a few more times. Thanks for powering through with my deck donation even after the initial dropped leagues!

Re: your confusion at ~13:45, "When you take the initiative, venture into the dungeon" is a separate trigger that spins off when you take the initiative. After your "ETB, you take the initiative" trigger resolved, your "venture" trigger was put on the stack. Your opponent responded to that with Ephemerate, so they took the initiative back from you off their ETB trigger, then they ventured, then lastly you ventured (without actually having the initiative, cause they're separate things). It all happened so fast i had to rewind twice to understand it, lol

@@david_s5693 ah ok ok. I think I need to turn off f8 when recording to be honest. With the auto cuts things are happening too fast.

@@kalikaiz IMO you should prioritize your play experience over the recording. Viewers can rewind and even play at half speed

Great video! Just want to point out that every spicy card you play passes through a spike in price here in Brazil. I follow a lot of pauper mtg content RU-vidrs and I haven't seen anyone playing that metamorphosis and Thornscape familiar (besides cosmic Charles') and both cards price have risen substantially.

there is a blue card that does the job: Energy Tap. Maybe Burnt Offering works too

Man, since Atog's ban, this is the first interesting Affinity list I've seen, you were supposed to have a 4x1 last game you were won but then you played badly like Alexandre Weber and lost a game you won lol

@@kalikaiz The opponent had 2 cards in his hand, had 2 life and had 6 creatures on the table, you were just supposed to attack with the Familiar that has flying and he was forced to have a removal, on the way back he was forced to attack you probably with the monarch to not die at 5 damage from the initiative you would have 5 life, and he would have 5 blockers in the next turn you would attack with 6 creatures, he would have to have 2 removallike he had and another counterspell for the pyroblast in one of the creatures... he would die anyway!!
