@Vollie D it'd honestly overpowered as a system. They tried to change it in both fates by nerfing it but it was op still. In three houses I found it balanced but it also made some classes have no use.

@@insidechaos4913 It was only seemed balanced in three houses because wyvern rider was busted and you didn't need to rely on side mechanics to bulldoze through a map.

It's objectively the worst chapter in the game Fog is already a difficult gimmick to deal with, but you add saving a house while breaking debris? And wyvern riders that come in the dark? No, thank you

You can get more , up to 23 chain attacks if Lucina is synced with a backup class the range is increased from 2 to 3 when performing all for one engage attack (I drew out a little map to check how many people could join in lol). This isn't even counting the Hero's level 5 brave assist skill that doubles chain attacks

Basically, chain attacks deal 10% of the targets hp, rounded down. 59/10 rounded down is 5, 11hits of that would only be 55. However, if the target has 60 hp, it would only take 10 hits to kill them. It is a little dumb that the math behind chain attacks means that in some cases, enemies with higher hp are easier to kill

Byleth is also ridiculous. You can do some insane strats with Byleth, the dancer you get in Chapter 15, and optionally the DLC Friendship Bracelet to have a single unit attack up to four to seven times in a single turn. You can even factor Lucina's Bonded Shield in to make that whole endeavor relatively risk free.

Byleth is by far one of the strongest skill in the game. x4 dance is extremely good.

Run the emulator using OpenGl. The portraits are only broken on Vulcan. Source: I just beat a 60 hour hard mode run of Fire Emblem Enagge running it with OpenGL and I did not have a single broken portrait
