I hate painting. Well, not really the painting part of it, but the prep work. So tedious. Before I have it all taped I get sick of doing it, lol. That ends up like you'd think it would. You guys are miles ahead of me for sure.
Yes this was a first for us I really planned on having a professional do it but couldn’t find anyone to do it so we gave it a try thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Put a electric dump kit on the bed.....then you could name it Lt. Danielle, Nice job guys...ps.... invite DP and Logger Wade over they could have increased the airflow through the shop💚🙃

Hi Aaron.. Truck looks very sharp. Great job. Along with the cooler. I can see you trolling down the road in the 4th of july parade. Sure do miss you in dirt perfects videos. I'd love it along with 1,000s of others, putting up more of your own videos. I hope you are doing well, and keeping healthy on your job. May people bless you as you've been a blessing to others. Ed from Chicago 🙂
Sorry I’m a little late watching this video but I watched it the truck is looking real sharp my friend I have always liked that body style on the Chevrolet and the big gauge it had it was good to see you on dirt perfect videos when you were there you sure are one good welder my friend be safe on your job have a good day tomorrow
Looks fantastic Aaron. Not quite the same color as the original but definitely not as blue as the cowl looked when you painted it at home. The matching cooler and fridge are the cats @$$.
Aaron lot of work going on looking good the body work, you should think about taking the fuel tank out from behind the seat and you can replace it with one from a catalog company LNC or some place like that. The fuel is not really in a ideal place and the smell from the fums are not good for breathing in the cab . They have one that fits exactly between the frame rails under the truck and you could have fuel pump in the tank with a EFI carburetor mounts right to the intake easy job.
Aaron… she’s a beaut! Love that paint scheme. Cruising the two blocks on the strip there In Derby… wheeling into the boat launch there at the river… laying a little scratch in the parking lot of the Derby Market… Throw a pillow in the drivers seat and Bo will be all set to drive it in the 4th of July parade! Bud, I think you just sewed the seeds of a thousand memories. I know you revived my fond recall… I turned 18 in 1971… pick-um-ups like yours were the stuff of my dreams! Oh, and thanks for giving me such a place of honor inside your cooler… I’ll be right there above the water level keeping count in how many beverages you have left!!!
The truck looks really good from here in Las Vegas !! or is it a 50-50 ? L O L !! nice seeing an old girl fixed up to where you can enjoy driving her around ! By the way that was some impressive fabricating on the Tile Plow for that 850J !!
Straight up Aaron, if you hadn't done it in two tone, I couldn't a road across the street in it but its sweet now, looks like mine did in 68... I came home on leave an then put my full down, pick it up at the end of my tour of nam... actually my third term or tour. I got it on march twentieth of 69, same color.... I ran it for two years on the track, Mine had the 403 with dual fours an a rock crusher four speed... I got it with the close ratio on the tree three speed but switched it out same day. I blew up a good twenty engines in it an almost always was second place. I traded it in on a 72 ford ranger that got all the goodies as I bought it with heavy suspension and a six with a auto matic. I gave that stuff to my brother for his project an took the engine an trans out of my cougar.... 428/4 speed. I never lost but one race in arlington and it was only but .03 seconds. I blew a tire my next race there an took out the wall! Put that engine right beside me
@@aaronbummmanbehindthescene4931 I made a lot of money racing... I got married and she made me quit after the third wreck.. I don't even know if your interested in my past.. it was very wild... at the time I got married, I was getting close to seven figures.
@@morgansword heck yeah!!! That’s like me I raced motor cross and ran pure stock dirt track until I got married and then it all went by by lol my allowance has gotten real low after 3 kids lol 😆
Alrighty MBTS, aka Almost Dirt Perfect, very nice, very nice! The truck looks like it came right off the show room floor, hope the compressor wasn’t hard to fix. Great job of videoing Aaron, all of the hours videoing for DP paid off. Take care and keep giving ole DP a hard time. I watched farmer chris’s video of y’all in Vagas, ole DP looked embarrassed. You wouldn’t do that to him would you? I would!! Take care!!
Thank you lane I appreciate that!! Well it was a new compressor so he had a warranty on it lol and oh yeah I just keep giving him a hard time thanks for watching 🤙🏻
