I love those unexpected close encounters. They don’t always end in a harvest, but make for a good hunting story. Y’all got both! Your surprise & excitement came through on the video. Mahalo for sharing.
Great video Ryan. Keep up the fight for your hunting heritage. We love the Big Island and have dreams of bringing my bow along one of these years. Keep up the great work and mahalo for taking us along on this adventure
This was an epic video!!! Nothing beats taking a nap in Pu'u Wa'awa'a, it always seems to draw the sheep in! ahahha Great video and keep fighting the good fight!
Right on! My son was lucky enough to draw a tag for the 3rd weekend and even more lucky to harvest an awesome ram… his first successful harvest of an animal. Appreciate your content! Awesome series
Right on braddah Ryan! Great video and information, I hope to one day understand the politics and game management back home. Keep up the great work! Much respect to you bro. Aloha
excellent videos, 1 & 2. Your message at video end is point-on & to be respected, for all hunters everywhere. Times are always changing, evolving during my experience the past 55 years of hunting western USA. Mahalo
Awesome video Ryan, Glad to see you're back to filming. Sad to know PWW is so limited now but glad it is still available at least on this small scale. Awesome surprise shot on that Ram!
MAHĀLO brother beautiful hunt close encounter but in the end it all worked out and it is nice to see places like Pu’uwa’awa’a to enjoy hunting experiences and share them with all #808hunters it’s a lifestyle it’s more then a trophy 🏆 it’s good on the table it’s skills stalking tracking and respect the area and the harvest so MAHĀLO Nui Ryan keep sharing and posting 🏆🥇🏹🐐🐏🤙🏾
I finally got my bow on island. Im having a ton of trouble trying to navigate the public hunts here. The when, where, and how to go about a hunt are scattered all over the place online. I do bow only so I’ve focused more on UNIT E,F,G. Any tips on the when and where? Very difficult trying to understand what days are ok to hunt and where to check in and do things correctly. Hoping to get out there more often. Hard to do with such a complicated system. Thanks for the awesome videos!
