Puyo Puyo, particularly Puyo Puyo Tsu was released on various platforms. According to wikipedia, Puyo Puyo Tsu was released on: Arcade, Sega Mega Drive, Super Famicom, Sega Game Gear, Gameboy, Windows 95, Macintosh, Wonderswan, PC Engine, Neo Geo Pocket, PC, NEC PC 9801, maybe even more, but I don't know.
Scylla's cutscene is just weird. Call me a pervert for just thinking about this, but WHERE ARE ARLE'S CLOTHES?! Also, WHERE DID THE TOWEL OR WHATEVER COME FROM?!
It was the superior version at the time due to all the extra options, and the ability to choose arranged or original arcade music, something no other CD version had at that time. The PS2 version ultimately ends up being the best overall due to using the PS1 version as it's base, and doing away with the longer load times.
Unlike Puyo Puyo Tsuu, which had different voice actors between arcade/Mega Drive and Super Famicom for Arle, Sun had the same VA's for everyone between Saturn and PS1 versions. Arle's VA first changed for the PCE CD versions, she was voiced by Kitono Mitsuishi, the VA for Sailor Moon. Around the time of Tsuu on SFC is when Arle's newer voice actress took over. From my understand yet another VA does her voice these days.
