For real, reminds me of the voting for TCG, he overwhelmingly got balanced and practically an even 7% across the other options (Miner, Redstoner, Explorer, Speedrunner). He has the best videos on the mechanics of mining, great redstone as you said, great builder, he does pranks, PvP, world record speedrunning - all sorts.

Cub literally doesn't have a weakness as a minecrafter, he's 'A' tier at every aspect of the game.

I'd say newer players are almost always better at combat then old ones because of the infamous combat update.

@@kacperwoch4368 that is pretty true. The exceptions being Cub and False (from the top of my head. Idk about Iskall, cause he used to be pretty decent at PVP.)

Etho hadn’t played much due to personal issues when the changes to PVP were rolled out. He was a god beforehand.

Absolutely need a GeminiTay PVP tutorial.

Also, Gem's headhunting expeditions have been helping me learn who the PVP champs are. False is obviously great at it, and Cub seems pretty good. It also puts MCC into perspective, when you see folks like Dream or Techno (RIP) just absolutely humble the Falses of the MC world without even looking like they're trying.

@@gristen Compare to MCC players, she is still at the lower end, but compare to Hermits, she, Scar and Grian are like god tier, maybe Pearl too

Whats interesting is the reason to do this was originally Diamonds.... I am fairly sure she can't collect on the reward for that anymore. Not that this is a bad thing... but its an interesting development, going from Murder for Hire to Murder to complete the collection.

​@@tylerfortson9535 nah the word good doesn't do him justice! He has a World Record in Speedrunning, he had built one of the biggest pyramids in survival MC with lots of redstone and parkour inside it, and his pvp is only getting better as he plays more MCC.

I have watched her for some time and she’s always been very good. I feel like she was downplaying it on Hermitcraft and Empires (this season). Maybe she was a little shy around the Hermits. But she probably was practicing too.

This rabbit-holes my brain. Did Etho fall behind on PVP because of his reputation at being good at PVP years ago? Like, would people not fight him, letting him get practice and experience in the new ways of PVP because of the old UHCs and his reputation? Probably not, he probably just hasn't focused on PVP in ages...but it's like you are good at something and have a rep for it, that rep means people don't want to go against you and then you have to relearn how to ride the bike because you don't have recent experience. Etho was more of a bow guy to be fair, and he knocked everyone around except Pause. I hope he regains his confidence. I'd really enjoy seeing him turn the washed-up naysayers on their heads.

@@luni-craft iirc he mostly did pre-1.9 combat. He didnt do much pvp post 1.9. which is different all together from the pre-1.9

@@luni-craft iirc the UHCs in mindcrack kind of pressured him coz of the expectations (don't quote me on that) so he stopped joining pvp things (I think he played to UHC 12?) and then 1.9 combat happened and it was totally different so probably his interest on it fizzled out. Now the life series is igniting that drive again and the wash up talks lol... but really he can master it again especially with the tips Gem gave and more battles in... now he needs to change his set up lol then adjust his sensitivity so they won't whiff as much with wild camera movements
