We're a month away from June which is when all major publishers usually make their huge announcements since that's kind of been ingrained thanks to E3 (RIP). Nintendo's done a world championship for a previous E3 so my best guess is their bringing it back this year. Since the Switch 2 has been rumored to be delayed Nintendo's probably using this as filler to keep us distracted/busy along with probably another few game announcements for the fall/holiday. I definitely feel like Nintendo's saving all their big guns for next year.

Okay I think this could be for the championships this year or the Nintendo Switch Online but I don't think it's not gonna be for Switch 2 since they could announce it during June's Direct or next year in 2025 but I'm still hoping for a Nintendo Direct so then we can finally get Tomodachi Life to come to Switch before we move to Switch 2 and also as well as some new spin-offs like a sequel for Kirby Air Ride, a new Mario sports game, and a new Mario Party Game but for switch 2 I hope we do get like a sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, a new 3D Mario Game, a new Mario Kart Game, and a new Mario Party game but let's hope and see if Nintendo can finally announce something for this month.

Hey nin10doland I would like to share some information I’ve heard about the next Nintendo console I don’t know exactly what the console looks like no one outside of Nintendos hardware dev team so if anyone is saying they know exactly what it looks like it’s a lie I found this information from a small Nintendo second party hardware presentation we where able to see what it’s capabilities where not it’s gimmick rather it’s power and it’s internal technology now I’m not saying this because I know what the console looks like but I know one of its ability’s is actually really cool it is said the next console will have the ability to turn a hard copy game into a digital game and also be able to exchange information between your consoles (if you have multiple) much easier also no no one has seen any new first party games on this console how ever Nintendo has said it will release with 3 big first party games with 2 more to follow months later and many updates for current switch games Nintendo has not stated if switch online services will carry on to the next console
