Olive Corona First of all, let me just say, I personally never had to deal with transferring credits and all that stuff so I'm not speaking from experience, just assuming, ok? K, great :) I think you will still be able to apply for uni in the UK but I'm not sure about how your credits will be counted/transferred. If you already have a general idea which uni you want to apply to then just email their admission team and I'm sure they'll answer all your questions. Don't be shy to email them, that's what they are there for! :) Hope that helped! x

I didn't feel behind in classes at all, but that really varies from person to person. Also it depends on what degree you decide to pursue. In American curriculum (at least in my High School) we had to pretty much do everything from maths and sciences to humanities and languages but in British universities there is not concept of liberal arts school where even if you study journalism you still do maths or sciences. Education here is a lot more focused and narrowed. If you have know exactly what you want to do in university than the British system might suit you better but if you want to experiment and explore different fields, I'd say American system suits you better. Hope that made sense :)

In terms of failing exams, personally I never had to deal with that but from what I've seen, there is a 'resit' period sometime in the summer, so don't worry, you won't get thrown out of uni for failing exams. Some schools have the resit period right after the academic year is over, others have it later in the summer. City university resits are usually scheduled for August. This gives you a second chance to pass the exam. I can't say that applies to every university and, unfortunately, I can't even tell you if it applies to every major in a single university because usually different departments within the same university may have different rules. You will have to find this information specifically for your university and your department. It should all be available on your university's website. Hope this helped :)

+Alastair Vergara It doesn't matter where you're from. If you have a strong application then you'll get accepted. I applied over 2 years ago in October 2013 and got a conditional acceptance like a month after that. Then I just had to finish high school with good grades and I was in.

You can go to •staples •Wilkinsons •wh smith I would advise you to go to Wilkinson's because they are slightly cheaper compared to the others. You could also visit large supermarkets like asdas or tesco I think they have some there.Hope I helped😊

Well, would you think it would be worth living in student accommodation? I live in London but it would be about an hour or so to get there. Also, what are people like? Sorta scared of not making many friends :// Are there usually a lot of stuff going on? Like to do with the uni? From events, to parties and, you know, anyhting! :D These may be like questions I should have got answers for ages ago, but they didn't really mention it at my open day, they spoke more about the course and education more than anything. Thank you :)

+George Mccaffery It all really depends on the person. I've been living in student accommodations but I don't like general 'student' behaviour because they get drunk and cause problems. Secretly being a 90-year old grandma on the inside I don't appreciate that and will definitely move out this summer. If you have a place to stay i wouldn't waste money on student accommodations cause they are quite expensive but again that depends on the type of person you are. If you like to party and stuff then maybe go for it. I'm going to uni to study, not party, so that was not interesting for me. The only reason I chose to live in student accommodations is because I come from another country and wanted to get accustomed to the city first. People again will really depend. There are good and bad people everywhere and you can't generalise. If you are generally an outgoing person you will not have issues making friends. I don't know what to say if you're more of an introvert because I'm not so I don't have experience with that. Universities have societies which you can join and they organise socials and events so yea. Hope that helped :)
