Q&A || BTS Guide Update? ARMY journey?

(ok, the first word that came for most of them was "love" T_T so I won't be using that one and also not resort to the typical "brain", "wwh", "sunshine"...) Namjoon: enlightened romantic (as in the 19th century movement, not "romantic" as love thing?) Jin: dependable Yoongi: trustworthy Hobi: stern Jimin: bright Tae: charismatic JK: homebody (in a perfectly good way, househusband?)

If you haven't seen him yet, highly recommend the reactor Tribe Loui, his BTS journey has been a very entertaining one to watch. Most sincere, creative and thorough reactors I've seen. One of the rare ones that keep his Patreon entirely free of charge, and doesn't make BTS reactions into a whole business. And his video titles are kinda eccentric and not algorithm friendly, so he doesn't get as much traffic as other reactors - it has been pointed out to him, but he doesn't care about clout so he's sticking to his crazy titles. Definitely not doing it for the money or views. Just a genuine love and enjoyment of BTS. Though I think he deserves way more traffic to his channel, hence why I'm taking time to spread the word about him lol. He also does vlogs going out to buy BTS albums and unboxing them, so he supports the members himself. Very open minded, good sense of humor, and sporting guy too. It's kinda hard to make him genuinely cringe, so he makes watching things like American Hustle Life enjoyable for those who find it cringe-y lol. He spent the first few months doing deep dives into each individual member, before going into their group discography in chronological order. And he watches everything, like literally everything. Even stuff that most Army don't know about (someone created a whole spreadsheet for him to follow lol). And sometimes he throws in fun stuff like learning BTS dance choreography, which I think is a little bit out of his comfort zone but he still gives it a very sporting try lol. And his Twitter is very entertaining, he posts funny stuff about the members and keeps up with news.

I agree that your original guide should be left as it is. You did an amazing story telling with informative captions and samples of each members' discography which made that 47 minutes fly by. @@Taylormari That's because when I tried to think about how to describe each of them - I see their stage personalities and real life personalities as two different things. So I figured it would be easier if I focused on that. Btw I'm MOTS7 too but for me it was ON:KMF that got me.

Sorry if you felt that way. I didn’t mean for it to make Jungkook or Jin seem any less than the others. I may have spent too much time on it but I do think it was important to mention. New viewers might not understand the extent of their family-like relationship and it’s good for them to know how and where their strong bond came from (living and caring for each other from a very young age like brothers). Their bond is a big reason why they’ve come so far and it’s a good fact to know for those new people who aren’t use to band members having such a close relationship. The best way I could think of to weave that in seamlessly was during the moments when I mentioned Jin as the oldest hyung and JK as the maknae. In my eyes, those distinctions dont detract from their contribution at all but actually make them more admirable. Jin has an extra responsibility as the oldest and has always handled it with grace. And Jungkook deserves credit and praise for being able to go through all of that hardship while being so young in this industry then being able to grow up so well into the humble, talented, and successful person he is today. This is my reasoning for including segments of the hyung and maknae roles but I didn’t mean for it to take away from them in any way. I hope you can understand.

I loved it seeing the maknae and what that entails but he's grown now and trying to show he's grown up side and I would like that reflected in the additional footage that's all.. sorry I tried to say it without being negative cos some people only see him as the maknae and don't understand why he is the main vocalist.. but I didn't succeed 😬💜 I apologise

@@janetuss6496 I've seen one video so far. He seems like a good guy. If you are open minded to those who do have Patreon then J & J are excellent. Very deep dives and they thoroughly research everything, even the most obscure things. I don't mind genuine reactors who love BTS (& they do) who want to make their channel their livelihood. I know fakes, and they're not. They're also learning Korean to understand lyrics better. Been to Yoongi's NY concert and gifted Army a free ticket to join them. Don't have preconceived ideas about those with Patreon. Not all are bad. Gabbsi is another good one. Hope you give them a chance. 💜

@@SingaJay I am aware of everything you stated about them. I don't make my judgement on reactors solely based on if they have a patreon or not. There are other considerations and behaviors which I take into account. So it's a not a preconceived notion about people with patreon. I think having a patreon and making money off reactions is fine. However I think there is a reasonable amount that should go behind a paywall, and when reactors exceed a reasonable amount, it seems quite disingenuous to me. J and J moved like 90- 95% of their content behind a paywall. That is way beyond a reasonable amount to me. I'm sure J and J have genuine interest and liking for BTS, not saying they don't. But I feel their interest in money and making a business out of it is greater. Also, they were most well known for their lyrics analysis portion of their reactions, and they tried to move even that part to patreon too. And only brought it back to YT when they got some backlash about it. It felt like they were trying to see how much they could get away with, and left a bad feeling for me. I'm aware they put a lot of effort and prep and research into their reactions. But I feel most of that is for the business aspect, and less for genuine liking of BTS aspect, because of the reasons I stated above. And again, not saying they don't genuinely like BTS. I'm sure they DO like BTS, otherwise why spend so much time and effort on them. It's just that to me, it seems their liking for money is first and foremost. And I just can't get behind such a reactor. That's just my personal feelings and opinions. It's fine if other people don't feel that way, and like J and J and want to support them. I just hope more people can ALSO watch and support reactors like Tribe Loui, who makes great content, shows a lot of sincerity, and makes a great effort to keep everything free. You don't even need to pay to support him, just watch some more of his videos 😊 I suggest his Jungkook birthday video, I remember it was a funny and entertaining one. He also just posted a video today watching live performances + Danger Mo Blue Mix + like a "things you missed" type video for the Blanket Kick dance practice video, he really loves that song it seems lol.
