If you guys don't believe me, there is a lot of actual science waiting for you to look at. Meat eaters always say that we are biased because the plant based diet is a wonderful thing. It is simply the best for you, for the animals and for the planet. Brainwashed people will think that the truth is biased. For me, I healed myself from heart disease with it. The doctors would have told me that I should take toxic medications and wait until I'm dead. So it would be really fucking hard to convince me that the plant based diet is overrated!!!! REALLY FUCKING HARD

because he has little personality or charisma. zero marketing. doesnt really put himself out there, compared to the juiced up hyped up fitness youtubers, this guy is bland. a humble beast in the gym. a rookie in the youtube community. if an athlete of his caliber, had the same drive to push his youtube presence as some of these other roided up fake nattys, he would no doubt gain alot more views and followers

Clarence, what's your opinion on exclusively pause squatting? I know you decided to make the transition because it'd be easier on your knees, but I recently decided to make the switch a couple months ago and have experienced a great increase in leg development and strength on the squat. (I did this mainly to ensure all my squat reps are kept consistent). Do you think the pause squat is superior to the regular squat for overall strength and muscular development?

@@Jamie-bg3zb That is a common saying coming from meat eaters. While the endless choices of what we eat doesn't involve pain and suffering and resulting in unnecessary death. Eating "meat" and "chicken" because the "taste though" sounds really stupid. Needn't I have to even mention. And certainly eating meat can't be a matter of choice as the poor animals don't get left with any choice to begin with. They don't choose to be on your plate. What difference is there from eating dog and cat meat to other animal meat?

I've made good progress from squatting heavy once a week, just thought that's worth mentioning to people. Squatting 3 times a week wasn't necessary to make gains so I didn't, but as I handle weights above 180kg regularly now I'm finding it necessary to do more work.

Clarence I believe that scientists have confirmed that many plants have nerves (obviously not as developed as animals). If this is the case than do you believe that the "pain" and poor living conditions of plants do not matter as much as animals? I'm sure you've thought of this already but I'd be interested to see what you think

I have bone on bone in the interior of my left knee...any suggestions for rehab would be appreciated...I'm doing leg extensions, back squats, front squats and dead lifts right now. Really can't/shouldn't do Olympic lifts anymore due to the shock factor....even though I do them anyway sometimes just because they are so fun, but I pay for it the next several days.

@clarence0 When you say back squats, do you mean low bar back squats? I've noticed your squat is kind of a hybrid between the low bar and high bar. Your back seems very horizontal for a low bar squat, but you seem to utilize the posterior chain and drive the concentric movement with your hips. Also, why ass to grass and not just below parallel? thanks.

Thanks for this. How do you avoid pain in the patellar ligament while (heavy) squating? Sometimes I have knee pain, sometimes I don't. The reason for that is I'm learning to squat, and so I've tried different techniques/forms.

My only opposition to going meatless is the inability to get good amounts of certain nutrients without supplementing. Glycine, creatine, choline, retinol, true omega 3, mk4 (k2, affects hormones and bone growth more than others), etc.

In case noone provided Clarence with my answer to why not vigan: because -melted- raclette is not vegan. 2nd: brioche and most pastry is not vegan. I have a question in return: did you experiment with various stances for performance or training purposes, which ones, why, with what results? Thanks and congratulations for all Clarence.

you're vegan?! when are you going to convert Omar? j/k. I think the reason many experience a difference after switching is because they come from a very unhealthy diet and going vegan, especially whole foods plant based vegan is so much healthier than the standard/fast food diet. Being an athlete you probably already ate healthy.

MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS EVER!!!! Do you ever do accessory movements? Over the years you've built a frame that resembles that of a bodybuilder, is that because you regularly incorporate accessory movements, or has the size just built over time with compound movements? Also do you most do pause squats in all your working sets now?

Dane Murphy in an interview article online he said he did lateral raises rear delt flys skull crushers and curls, but curls made his arms too big so he had to stop doing them so much

Thank you for this Q&A clarence. I have 2 questions if you got time. NO problem if you prefer not to answer :) 1: how often do you increase weight on your lifts, as far as progressive overload goes, do you recommend increasing every week or focus on 1 weight for a longer period of time then increase the weight? 2: I feel like I respond extremely well with deadlifts but not so much in squats or bench. Do you advise against only training deadlift once per week perhaps once every 2 week and rather have me increase my frequency with my squat and bench?
