In this Q&A video, R. L. Solberg will tackle three of your questions:
1. How should we understand the OT prophecies about keeping Torah in the last days?
2. Understanding the 10 lost tribes of Israel (and whether some of us have descended from those tribes)
3. Was Paul the founder of Christianity?
And there's a bonus question at the end!

Dr. Solberg your videos are very restoring to someone who came out of this movement several years ago. I was left with a lot of searching. It is almost triggering to read through the comments section due to the spirit in which people attack you, which I believe is entirely opposite of the spirit of the Creator. Thanks again for all the work you do!

Excellent as usual Professor Solberg! I’m truly humbled and grateful you’d address my question as a teaching video as apposed to a reply in the comments section. Thank you so much! I’ve had a friend and fellow believer tilting toward HRM because of teachings from 119 ministries, but mostly from Lex Meyer because he’s based near our area here in Oklahoma! I’ve been sharing your teachings and encouraging him to watch your work on RU-vid. This is definitely one to share as he has hit me with several questions about the feasts, especially Sukkot! Great video Rob. I believe that those texts are using symbolism to convey hebraic idealism. Most notably Isaiah 65:20, it doesn't actually say children can die at 100yrs. It's conveying the quality of life in the new creation in terms the audience would understand. Excellent music recommendation in Josh Garrels. That man is so full of grace, wisdom, wonder, talent and has an incredible gift for writing. Speaking too! His interviews are a delight, and his teachings are good too (I only know of a few guest spots from Door of Hope in Portland, OR that I've watched online). Thanks again Rob 😁

119 Ministries says the same thing about interpreting difficult texts using clear texts. Except they say it about Pauls letters. They say Paul is often misunderstood and his writings are difficult to understand. I like the way that you broke down the scripture and I like the way you explain how you came up with the interpretation that you did. Thank You for what you do. I have learned so much to share with some of my family members that have been in the HRM for a long time.

While in a discussion with TO, I was stopped with the lost tribes idea and am studying it out, I had never heard it before. The idea presented to me is that Paul was sent only to the lost tribes. That the gentiles Paul preached to were the lost tribes, that his letters are to the lost tribes. The scriptures you gave here are very helpful. Do you have any other videos that go more in depth into this topic? I most certainly appreciate your studies!! Thank you!

Thanks for addressing that issue concerning the comment about Isaiah chapter 66. The ideas from the lakes of Christopher Enoch do need to be exposed indeed, for his comments about how anyone who eats pork is not a Christian or disturbing! It appears that Interest in this Torah observant movement is growing. I sense that people are looking for something that they feel is tangible to help them validate their faith. Personally knowing members of this movement, and having fellowship for some time with them, I notice that there is little interest in evangelism. I’m not judging, but we are taught that we can know a tree by its fruit. Torah, is beautiful, was given by God to Israel, and worked exactly as Yahweh meant for it to work, it was a wonderful tutor, to lead us right into the Messiah‘s loving arms! Thank God for giving us this gift, and now that we have the substance, we can rejoice and speak to people about the gospel!

Just a side note, I have noticed Torah observant followers have a strong tendency to scour the Scriptures and the Internet for anything that can support their personal ideas about Torah. But what I really admire in a follower of Jesus is one who searches diligently for the truth, rather than searching diligently for support of his own ideas of what he wants the truth to be!

One thing that I found about this movement is that it is very segmented. For example, many Sabbatarians inside this movement say that the Sabbath is neither Saturday nor Sunday, but it's based on the moon phases. they are called the Lunar Sabbatarians. They state that the real Sabbath falls always on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th day of a lunar calendar. There are also the “Yeshua only-ists” who say that we should never use any of the translated names, some say that we should never pronounce the name of God, etc. There are even people who fell so deep in that movement that they ended up rejecting Christ altogether to follow Judaism. So sad…

@@MrsNuttyBar1, that’s been my experience, Rachel. Even to the point that the “extra books”become more important than the Bible…and are defended with the blanket statement similar to a Mormon thought, “Christian’s have the Bible, but it’s not reliable” mentality…in my home, when I politely ask to keep our study with our daughters present to the 66 canon, I’m met with “you just hate learning truth, I far surpass just the study of the canon, I’m not going back and neither are my children, who know more than you do”…even with books that aren’t part of the apocrypha…

@idastill3978 That saddens me and my heart goes out to you. I'm not faced with it daily so I suppose it's a bit easier to deal with. I've often wondered how far they must go until their eyes are opened and they see the damage done. In my experience, they make a point of saying they're "whole Bible believers" with outlandish excuses for Galatians being meant for the nephlium, and of course "we dont really know what Paul is teaching in his letters because he's soooo hard to understand or at the very least he's teaching the opposite of what we've alway thought, but then we must add all the apocrypha too"..... Idk, I could probably handle it better if they weren't so self righteous and proud about all their "knowledge" as well. I've read many a testimony of women whose husband's are sucked into this heresy and its so heartbreaking. I'm praying that God gives you the strength to face each day and that Jesus would shine through you to them. I trust that one day my family members will come to the truth and I trust that for you as well. 🙏🩷 Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. No mention of Ephraim and Manasseh in Neh 11::4. The mention of descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh is to remind us that the tribe of Benjamin continued to exist (after Judges 20 & 21), because they took wives from Jabesh Gilead (Manasseh) or from Shiloh (Ephraim). Therefore, the blood of Ephraim and Manasseh was in the ancestry of the tribe of Benjamin.

It's true that those who follow the Amillennialism train of thought would agree with this video, but many of us believe the Millennium is real, and is coming. The "thousand years" is stated in far too many places throughout scripture for it to be considered merely allegorical. Zechariah said what he said: Zechariah 14:16-17 16 And it shall come to pass, [that] every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17 And it shall be, [that] whoso will not come up of [all] the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. See? "...EVERY ONE THAT IS LEFT..." That's not allegorical. That's very specific and very clear. Couching that in this fallen environment of today, yes. That would be a feat that none of us could pull off. Notice that it is stated "...EVERY ONE THAT IS LEFT..." Left from what? The Tribulation has ended, those with the mark have been sent to Sheol, as well as all who rejected Christ. Nature will be revitalized throughout the earth, and nature will be replenished...recalling that ALL the sea life is wiped out in the Tribulation period. Sorry, but the minimalistic, Millennium-denying eschatology is simply too riddled with questions that remain unanswered. The Millennium serves a purpose in fulfilling a promise made.
@bugsocsollie1694
@bugsocsollie1694 Год назад
Nowhere in Scripture does it tell us that millennium has already begun. ....just to point out the obvious. But that means it is not a Biblical teaching: it's a man-made teaching. Those who hold to a millennium now view, seem to take literally only a handful of verses as if there is no other way to understand them. And at the same time, they make everything else scripture an allegory or somehow put it in a spiritual sense. But I've never seen any of them even consider the Dispensation of Grace given to Paul. How do they expect to fully understand any of it?

Satan says "Do, do, you must continue always to do." Christ says "Done, done, I've done it all and it is finished." No human ever could do the whole law continuously for their entire life. Moses killed and got angry. David stole, deceived, fornicated and killed. Only God himself could do the law and He knew He would from the foundation of the world, in order to save us pathetic humans because He truly loves us. The angels worship every morning because of what Christ did and He didn't do it for them. How much more should we worship, every single moment of our lives, because He did it for us. 😍

@danaleanne38 all that is not for this Dispensation of Grace. During this Dispensation, believers in Paul's Gospel are not under the law at all. Trying to be justified by the law, requires you to keep all the laws, and you are still under the curse of the law. Deuteronomy 28 shows those curses for not keeping the laws. We, the Body of Christ Church are delivered from the law, specifically speaking we are delivered from the 10 Commandments. Romans 7:6-7

I believe the NT teaches that the Mosaic rituals are permitted for followers of Jesus, but they are not required, and that's what we're seeing in Acts 21. Paul is all about the Gospel! This idea is seen more explicitly in 1 Cor 9:19-23 where Paul wrote: "For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings." Blessings, Rob

One problem about the idea of the people of the nations NOT going to Jerusalem is that the temple grounds are said to be about 70 square miles, which can house MANY people. So it's not so outlandish to think that the requirement spoken of in Zechariah is indeed true and literal.

I think it's a great point that Isaiah could be using symbolism in Isaiah 66:17. Afterall, in that time and culture rainbows would have been seen as symbolic of trust in God's promises but today they are flaunted pridefully in God's face as a symbol of disobedience to God's will. Even today, it would be confusing to see rainbows described in the Bible as detestable to God in light of Genesis 9 but we can certainly understand that what they symbolize in our culture today is detestable. However, anyone who lived prior to 1960 wouldn't get the picture.

I find it very interesting that when God gave Israel into the hands of Assyria in 2 Kings 17 He lays out their failing before God, and no where does it mention not keeping the Law, but always their sin was worshiping other gods. No where in the Bible does it ever mention these people again, but as another commenter stated, 2 Chronicles 11 shows people from the Northern tribes migrating to Judah, strengthening Rehoboam, and becoming part of the people of Judah. And you mentioned Anna from the tribe of Asher...

I wish you would do a teaching on the definitions of Parable, Allegory, Foreshadow, Types & Images versus Substance & Fulfillment. HRM people seem to take the Bible literally. But clearly, Jesus & The Heavenly Father spoke in parables. The central theme is The Earth, The Seed War, Fruit of the Spirit & then The Harvest. Jesus came to Sow the Good Seed of Promise, Faith & Righteousness into Jerusalem, The Bride of Christ. The alter of the Holy Sacrifice on Calvary was also the alter of Holy Matrimony (aka Marriage). Jesus was our Bloody Valentine. He loved us unto His Death. We are commanded by God to be Faithful Brides who ABIDE in Christ & bear heavenly fruits unto God. Otherwise, the curse will bear only thorns & thistle which are the UNfaithful adulterous harlots..To believe or not to believe? What Christ did for me on Calvary? The Mystery of the Gospel begins there.

@@TheBiblicalRoots My pastor do not require me to follow the law. But I seek truth and I want what is good. I have found that the Laws of our God are so good and brings life and peace with Him. 🙂 Romans 7:1 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.” Romans 7:22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; Psa 1:2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. Psa 1:3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. Psa 19:8 The Precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of Jehovah are pure, giving light to the eyes. Psa 19:9 The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and righteous altogether, Psa 19:10 more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

I agreed to your biblical teaching. You touched on Zec14 eschatogy pertaining going up to Jerusalem I think it shouldn't be read literally because of what Jesus stated in John4 in answering to the Samaritan woman; Joh 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. So if we are to read it literally then it would contradict what our Lord affirmed. Thank you for your inspiring videos.

31:32 “The way” means and always has meant “Halacha “. It was “the way” a Jew followed Torah long before Christianity redefined the term . Paul is describing a minority group of Jews who were following a different Halacha, AKA Jesus fulfilling the Law of God given to Moses and therefore making it null.

Remember my last post? A nominal Christian is nothing more than a Christian who lacks understanding, especially when they are opinionated. Carnal-minded men teach what they once heard that tickled their ears. Rob uses the word "drama" for what Isaiah says: "So God's words from Isaiah's lips are nothing but drama." That is how much he values God's word. He doesn't believe God will appear in a whirlwind on a chariot, but he might have changed his mind if he hadn't read 1 Chronicles 28:18 at least once. "The chariot of God rests upon the ark of the covenant." Didn't Elijah ride a chariot in the whirlwind? So why wouldn't the creator come down in the same way? With his quick smirk, he thinks the judgment of fire from heaven upon people is a joke. the sword, Revelation 6:8: with the sword, one fourth of the earth will be killed. You still think this man is teaching you the truth? He continues to twist God's word with his own opinion. Those who have ears, keep listening carefully to what this depraved-mindset man keeps teaching you. He tries to twist the word "garden" to mean those who participate in idol worship, but that is not what it says. Isaiah is telling us that trying to sanctify oneself with the energy of the flesh will come to ruin. So, keep eating your favorite swine, which God calls testable and abominable, "SIN." Shall I go on?

Yes, he is teaching his own anti-nomian theology called "torahism". Where Sin (1John3v4) is subjective, NT scripture is divorced from the OT, Yeshua is read as a false teacher according to the OT, and obedience and reverence to G-D is "permitted but not required". Yikes.

Works of the Law versus Works of Faith, Hope & Love? Loving your neighbor is WORK. If we LOVE The Lord Jesus, we will manifest His Love to other people. Our WORK is to bless others as The Lord has blessed us. The Bride (Eve) was made to be a HELPER to her husband. And Adam's original job requirement was to TILL the ground, KEEP the garden & to DRESS it. To be FRUITFUL & MULTIPLY the Good Seed. DRESS means to prepare or make ready or to make beautiful. Ready for what?? For the Wedding Day & the Great Harvest. To cover his nakedness with White Garments of Righteousness by sowing The Blessed Seed. But Adam & Eve chose the Evil Seed & covered themselves with Fig Leaves. And multiplied the forbidden Seed from the forbidden fruit which was from the Tree of Knowledge (Conception) of Good (Seed) & Evil (Seed) = The Curse. But The FREE GIFT of God came to humanity on Calvary where The Son of Man SOWED the GOD SEED of Faith & Peace & Righteousness. So our works is to be a FAITHFUL bride & helper to Lord Jesus who is The Last Adam. This is our FIRST WORKS. Jesus FINISHED (fulfilled) the requirements for perfect Righteousness according to The Law (613 Mitzvot) & IMPLANTED (imputed) His Righteousness into our Hearts (DNA = SOUL = CORE PART OF YOUR BEING). If I abide in Christ, He & His Righteousness abide in me. The New Covenant is a social contract which is marriage to Christ & adoption by the Most High God. As it is written, some will remain faithful but most will not. And then will come the Judgement & the Harvest of Souls.

Deuteronomy 32 - The Song of/for Israel Part I - Israel Provokes God to Jealousy with Strange Gods; Therefore God Provokes Israel with The Church Deuteronomy 32:7-21) "Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee. When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape. But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They PROVOKED him to JEALOUSY with strange gods, with abominations PROVOKED they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. They have MOVED ME to JEALOUSY with that which is NOT GOD; they have PROVOKED me to anger with their vanities: and I will MOVE THEM to JEALOUSY with those which are NOT A PEOPLE; I will provoke them to anger with A FOOLISH NATION." [When Israel was blessed by God, and was given the land of promise, in time, the nation turned its back on God - and they went after other 'gods' which were NO GODS. Since they did this, God moved Israel to JEALOUSY with THE CHURCH - mostly made up of GENTILES.] The Apostle Paul confirmed this in the Book of Romans 11:1,13,14) "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the APOSTLE of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: If by any means I may provoke to EMULATION them which are MY FLESH, and might save some of them." The Church is made mostly of GENTILES, because it was very difficult for the JEWS to understand that THE GOD OF ISRAEL was also THE GOD of GENTILES.

Hosea 1:6-11 [6]And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away. [7]But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen. [8]Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son. [9]Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God. [10]Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God. [11]Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel. Romans 9:24-33 [24]Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? [25]As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. [26]And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. [27]Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: [28]For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. [29]And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. [30]What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. [31]But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. [32]Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; [33]As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 1 Peter 2:1-12 [1]Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, [2]As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: [3]If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. [4]To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, [5]Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. [6]Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. [7]Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, [8]And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. [9]But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: [10]Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. [11]Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; [12]Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Read all of Ephesians 2, but here it shows that you should no longer be gentiles. Look at the meanings of the words gentile and church. God only has one people; Israel. They were divided, but Jesus made a way for them to be reconciled, and then reconciled to Himself. Two sticks symbolize this in Ezekiel. The New Covenant is made with who? Ephesians 2:8-22 [8]For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9]Not of works, lest any man should boast. [10]For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. [11]Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12]That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13]But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. [14]For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; [15]Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16]And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: [17]And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. [18]For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. [19]Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; [20]And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; [21]In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: [22]In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. One new man. Jesus didn't abolish His/God's commands. He abolished the separation of Israel, so that we may return. Mr. Solberg wants to make Israel be by blood/descendants, but the only genealogy in scripture was to prove out Jesus as the Messiah. This is also the only reason that Judah wasn't divorced as the House of Israel was. The song you quoted is prophetic, as is Deut. 29 and 30. Deuteronomy 29:28-29 [28]And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day. [29]The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 30:1-8 [1]And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, [2]And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; [3]That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. [4]If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: [5]And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. [6]And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. [7]And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. [8]And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. Read on. This was being told to them right before they go into the land. Peter and Romans both quote Hosea when talking about the "gentiles", but what was the context of Hosea? The House of Israel being divorced and scattered, then coming back in the end. Read about the law of the husband/divorce in Deut. 24, Jer. 3 where the House of Israel is divorced, and Romans 7 where Jesus makes a way for reconciliation. Peter is writing to "gentiles" and calls them titles given to Israel right before quoting Hosea. 1 Peter 2:9-10 [9]But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: [10]Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. A church and a synagogue are the same thing. "The Church" is not an entity.

Dear Rob - you just have the gift of touching the surface of these questions - but ignoring the important issues . You mention , no sacrifices or Levitical priesthood in future - but Ezekiel 44 tells us the opposite . When you discuss Isaish 66 - you forget Isaiah 56 - which addresses Foreigners and how they live their lives and will be accepted into the household of God . You go to the 10 tribes and clearly don't mention Jer 3 : 8 , where God uses the divorce law He permitted , to divorce the House of Israel . Consider the following : I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, O Ephraim, you have played the whore; Israel is defiled. Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. For the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not the Lord. Hosea 5:3‭-‬4 ESV Their deeds do not permit them , to ever return to God , as the law states - being defiled . Deut 24 : 1-4 That is why Christ could state the following : He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24 ESV In the death of Christ - that divorce cert was annulled - making it again possible for these natural branches to be grafted back into the Olive tree . Many and yourself included , misses to whom Paul addresses Ephesians 2 : 12-13 . These gentiles could only be from the lost tribes , as hermeneutics and the law of first mention - disqualifies gentiles from other nations . They became gentiles to God - through the divorce act . Paul describe this outcome as - the mystery of Christ , in that God out of love for His people , made a way for His people , as well as others ( John 3 : 16 ) to be invited to join the kingdom . You mention the 12 tribes of Israel in Revelation - but forget to mention that Ephraim and Dan are missing . Maybe because these tribes accommodated the golden calves ? and will have to suffer the tribulation for this . Maybe a reminder to all who introduce idolatry as a means to serve God . Most of all you fofgot to mention that Paul became the Ringleader of the Natsarim - who was described by the early " church fathers " in their writings - as followers of the law ? How can one describe Paul liberal in his teachings - if the character of his followers shows something completely different ? Well maybe you should finish Peter's reference to Paul , which you failed to discuss . as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. 2 Peter 3:16‭-‬17 ESV There is so much more to show , but thanks for testing us , to not fall for the error of lawlessness , but keep our stability in matters of the kingdom , to which all are invited . Shalom and God bless

Prophets are not soothsayers, fortune tellers nor are they channeling God as we see in pagan cultures. According to Torah law Prophets are brought to a particular generation at a specific time of history to offer words of caution for disobedience of Torah. They plead with those who are in the covenant by explaining the POTENTIAL curse and blessings of their potential actions. This is played out multiple times in the Tanakh as evidence to this fact. It’s important to understand that The “books of the prophets” are only the historical record of those messages surrounding those events and people. As soon as we start applying the specifics of any prophecies to generations that exist 1000’s of years later, we have become enchanted with a false sense of divine expectation. We may relate to those historical events and even gain some understanding as to how God relates to humans who are committed to his covenants. However, the message those Prophets delivered were not intended for any other group of individuals other than those generations who received it directly from the prophet(s).
@jnastally196
@jnastally196 Год назад
Was Jesus' message only intended for that generation? What about prophecies given by Peter or Paul? Only that generation? Your first 2 paragraphs I agree with you, but often times prophets speak through history to another time, like Moses, David, Jeremiah, Daniel, and many others. It is written: "Days are coming declares to LORD...", "the Day of the LORD ...", or "in those days....", are clearly speaking through history. "Will a nation be born in a day?" What about prophecies of Messiah coming? I could go on and on, but you get the point. You made a couple of claims about prophets and prophecies that you should reevaluate. You are correct in saying that prophets are warning people about disobedience to Torah. 👍

Genesis 17 The covenant with Abraham, that his descendants would be as innumerable as the Stars and the sand of the sea. From the 15M Jews including converts, only Approximately 6M are practicing the Religion. The Good news is that God Did. Abraham meaning (“The Father of Many Nations”) did not want Isaac to have a gentile woman from Canaan, so he send Eliezer on a 2 months journey to Mesopotamia to get a woman from his own family. Now later the same that happened to Abraham happened to Isaac. Christianity is an Israeli (Abrahamic) religion, God’s promise to Abram is, that his seed would be like the stars you cannot count and like the sand on the seashore. It is in the linage of Isaac and Jacob NOT ISMAËL. But there are more or less 500 M descendants of Ismael and not even 10M of Isaac. In Genesis 17 (the Abrahamic Covenant), verses 4-7, is an “unconditional” covenant! In Genesis 22:18, we read, “And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed…” A Big Big question here is how? Further, in Genesis 26:4, we read of the same blessings conveyed upon Isaac, The Messiah was most explicit about “who” the disciples were to go to.

Most people think we are in last days of earth. Actually Jesus was talking about the last days of old covenant, not the earth. He came in judgement on Jerusalem in 70ad, came to earth at that time. It was the end of the age of the old covenant. Jesus established the new covenant at the Passover with his disciples. Jesus said his kingdom doesn't come with observation. Jesus destroyed the physical temple of his body to end the old covenant. The blood was the atonement. Isaiah 66 was the destruction of Jerusalem. We are no longer under that covenant. When Jesus came, people came and worshipped at the mountain of God. Jesus told the woman at well that there would come a time that there would be no more worshipping at the temple. That time is now.

30:00 “Paul invented Christianity “ -Paul was a mystically inclined Jew as evidenced by his belief in Paradise, angels, demons, alternate dimensions, supernatural “messiahs” etc. Clearly Torah mentions nothing about these otherworldly things but the culture of his time was filled with these imaginations. These beliefs are not what made Paul a Christian. This was a Kabolistic Jewish understanding shared by many Jews at the time of Jesus and Paul. Both Jews and Christians awaited a messiah whether he be of supernatural or carnal origins. What made Paul’s religion different than the Judaism of his day was that Paul’s Jesus was God himself in the flesh. That essential pillar of modern Christianity was not present at the time of the gospel events. The deity of Jesus expressed by Paul IN ADDITION to other kabolistic doctrines were the catalyst for the Christian religion, not simply a belief in a future messiah.

Christianity as a term was created by st Ignatius as a RELIGION to separate from judaism..I'm naming WHO created the term "christianity" hence why its NOT found in scriptures. “DO NOT GO BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN” (1 COR 4:6). "christianity" is not found in scripture. only THE WAY is! If people want to call their religion christianity or call it messianic judaism or call it Catholic or whatever then fine. But what I am saying is all these I just mentioned are NOT in the scriptures and we shouldn't say things that are not there.. Why can't we just be biblical and call it THE WAY what it is really called. Paul went seeking those belonging to THE WAY thats what it says in black and white. it doesn't say Paul went seeking those belonging to christianity. The scriptures you just posted doesn't mention "Christianity" it mentions THE WAY though (Acts 9:1-19). So yes the belief of believing is Jesus was indeed before Saul/Paul but it Was NOT called "Christianity" not in that time. So in a nutshell Jesus/Yeshua Didn't invent "christianity "and Paul didn't neither. the term "Christianity" was created by St Ignatius. So biblically Christians (Gentiles) Acts 11:26 and Nazarenes (Jews) Acts 24:5 were followers of THE WAY. Shalom From Haderekh, Jewish Nazarene and former Athiest. @@TheBiblicalRoots

@@Nazarene_Judaism I respectfully disagree, HNI. "For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called *_Christians"_* (Acts 11:26). "And Agrippa said to Paul, “In a short time would you persuade me to be a *_Christian?”_* (Acts 26:28) "Yet if anyone suffers as a *_Christian,_* let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name" (1 Pet. 4:16). The word in the Greek manuscripts is Χριστιανός (Christianos). Shalom, RLS

I disagree with you too. I weren't talking about the word christian I was talking about the word christianity. different word altogether, Don't worry you clearly don't get what I am saying and you don't know church history about the Nazarenes, and Acts 24:5 is there for a reason! ,Nazarenes are Jewish believers and it's in the greek manuscripts also Ναζωραῖοι (Nazarenes)I'm more than happy to challenge you on the history of the Nazarenes. And who they are and were. and I would challenge you not the word "christianity "vs the way and which term is written in the scripture and Biblically correct. Shalom HNI. @@TheBiblicalRootscorrect.

Here's your head start...Jerome viewed a distinction between Nazarenes and Ebionites, a different Jewish sect, but does not comment on whether Nazarene Jews considered themselves to be "Christian" or not or how they viewed themselves as fitting into the descriptions he uses. He clearly equates them with Filaster's Nazarei.[27] His criticism of the Nazarenes is noticeably more direct and critical than that of Epiphanius. The following creed is from a church at Constantinople at the same period, and condemns practices of the Nazarenes: I renounce all customs, rites, legalisms, unleavened breads & sacrifices of lambs of the Hebrews, and all other feasts of the Hebrews, sacrifices, prayers, aspersions, purifications, sanctifications and propitiations and fasts, and new moons, and Sabbaths, and superstitions, and hymns and chants and observances and Synagogues, and the food and drink of the Hebrews; in one word, I renounce everything Jewish, every law, rite and custom and if afterwards I shall wish to deny and return to Jewish superstition, or shall be found eating with the Jews, or feasting with them, or secretly conversing and condemning the Christian religion instead of openly confuting them and condemning their vain faith, then let the trembling of Gehazi cleave to me, as well as the legal punishments to which I acknowledge myself liable. And may I be anathema in the world to come, and may my soul be set down with Satan and the devils."[28] "Nazarenes" are referenced past the fourth century CE as well. Jacobus de Voragine (1230-98) described James as a "Nazarene" in The Golden Legend, vol 7. Thomas Aquinas (1225-74) quotes Augustine of Hippo, who was given an apocryphal book called Hieremias (Jeremiah in Latin) by a "Hebrew of the Nazarene Sect", in Catena Aurea - Gospel of Matthew, chapter 27. So this terminology seems to have remained at least through the 13th century in European discussions. Nazarene beliefs[edit] The beliefs of the Nazarene sect or sects are described through various church fathers and heresiologists. in Jesus as Messiah: The Nazarenes... accept Messiah in such a way that they do not cease to observe the old Law. - Jerome, On. Is. 8:14 in the Virgin Birth: They believe that the Messiah was born of the Virgin Mary. - Jerome, Letter 75 Jerome to Augustine Adhering to circumcision and the Law of Moses: They disagree with Jews because they have come to faith in Christ; but since they are still fettered by the Law - circumcision, the Sabbath, and the rest - they are not in accord with the Christians. - Epiphanius of Salamis, Panarion 29.7.4 Use of Old Testament and New Testament: They use not only the New Testament but the Old Testament as well, as the Jews do. - Epiphanius of Salamis, Panarion 29.7.2 Use of Hebrew and Aramaic New Testament source texts: They have the Gospel according to Matthew in its entirety in Hebrew. For it is clear that they still preserve this, in the Hebrew alphabet, as it was originally written. - Epiphanius of Salamis, Panarion 29.9.4 And he Hegesippus the Nazarene quotes some passages from the Gospel according to the Hebrews and from the Syriac [the Aramaic], and some particulars from the Hebrew tongue, showing that he was a convert from the Hebrews, and he mentions other matters as taken from the oral tradition of the Jews. - Eusebius, Church History 4.22 @@TheBiblicalRoots
