This sermon looks at the sad history of three prominent former Adventist members Dudley M. Canright, Franklin Edson Belden, and Moses Hull. Despite warnings and pleas from Ellen G. White to repent, the three wandered from their faith. Their story parallels the life of Saul, the first of king of Israel, initially receiving the Lord's anointing and later, the Lord's spirit abandoned him. The sermon revisits the story of the Prodigal Son, which emphasizes no condemnation to those who make a U-turn and repent.
