Their "review" of original Tabac is just about their childhood memories, it's not an actual review of the product! I would rather heard a description original Tabac, not their childhood stories!

Which one smells like the typical Halloween shaving cream smell? Similar to the Gillette shaving cream smell with the green cap, Not the original barbosal red can smell which is oatmealy and not the white powder vibe u get at the barber shop, just trying to find one that smells like I got covered in shaving cream on Halloween

You guys are the first to review Tabac Gentlemen's Care on RU-vid! yay! I love Tabac Gentlemen's Care, for sure. But I find it very similar to Paco Rabanne Invuctus. When I wear Gentlemen's Care quite often people ask me if I'm wearing Invustus. Have you ever compared it to Paco Rabanne Invuctus? Like to hear your opinion. Greets from Holland

The original tabac is killer. Its a classic and there is really not much to debate about it you either like it or not (i love it, my fav shaving soap as well) but you cant deny its uniqueness and character. The other stuff is like most new products from classic companies pretty shit. Smells generic and cheap. With tabac, go for the classic if you like it or check out some more sophisticated colognes, the newer stuff is shit imho.

It was first released as a luxury scented shaving soap, produced in their Vienna factory from 1938. However the matching Cologne didn't arrive until 1959. They presumably use the later date as 1930's Germany isn't a great selling point....

@@flammaferus2998 Gentlemen, This is not about the beginning of the Maurer&Wirtz company. This is about Tabac. And Tabac (as a brand) didn't existed before 1959. The company itself prints their own Tabac products with "Since 1959". The beginning or the parent company is one thing, the beginning of a product of that company is another thing. Just imagine how stupid is to say "Ford Mustang appeared in 1903", just because the Ford Motor Company was founded that year.
