What interests me is how people get emotional about this subject, from context our fore fathers were hunting most of this same game using heavy lead muzzle loaders at velocities that place the total energy dump at a similar place to this sub-sonic offering, but with none of the advantages of a modern spire point no less in construction. Yet we always have this debate about what is sufficient to do the job with no context except overkill in terms of FPE. Good demonstration of modern technology and proper shot placement.
Exactly... I'm pretty sure the dudes that wiped out the North American Buffalo population weren't using .300 win mag... I'm not saying they did a good thing, but the slow heavy antiquated lead bullets seem to work good enough to make mountains of bones... @@jacktrout5807 The upshot was than in the 1960's Cooper and some other people went on safari in Africa. Bill Ruger donated a couple of the .44 Mag carbines. Suffice it say, the little carbines performed WAY OUT of expectations. I don't think they had the 300 grain loads, either.

There is no way this is ethical. You can poke a hole in anything and it will bleed. The bullet is going way slower than the manufacturer states it needs for expansion. I am very surprised the guides let you hunt their animals with this gun. Shameful and disgusting,
Besides kevin and his crew, 96% of people who see this video has never seen a buffalo. Let alone hunt one 😅. I like 8.6blk, but the hunt specific content is meh. Repetitive.
