As we prepared for our trip to Dubs at the Lake in McHenry Maryland, we decided to see what was possible in the span of one day to transform a 2017 Audi Q7 from stock to show ready. 0:28, does anyone know what is this box on top of the engine that the guy is removing right now, i have 2015 3.0 tdi q7 and when i take the engine cover off i also see that thing?

Tony, that is the factory airbox. Unfortunately it is necessary unless you replace it with an aftermarket intake (of which there are few options)

It is the factory air suspension - we are using the AK Racing suspension controller - it intercepts the factory harness and gives you adjustment control of the factory air ride.

Amazing, especially rims and lowering! Did you guys lower it just by coding? No additional suspension parts added?

Yusifov - the lowering is accomplished via a controller device by AK Racing. You can adjust the height via your phone or modify the factory settings in the MDI, or both.

No, If you wanted to go beyond Stage 2 they would be necessary. Unfortunately, there are no options currently available for the Q7.

Hi, nice video, I got a question tho, I had a 2017 Q7 3.0t which had same ea837 engine, but I went to APR dealer somehow it wont able to do the tune do you have any idea? Thanks alot

They don't always have tunes for every ecu part number or "box code", ready made. It may be that APR has to verify the file for your ecu. You should have the dealer send in a request for your box code and that should start the process
