I never went to real prison but did a few months in the marine/navy brig and was appalled at how these guys acted and within 2 weeks was actually happy they beat the bullshit out of us with hard labor detail.

That depends. Depends on the shot caller in the system that you're in. For the most part, AB's dont give a shit unless you're a smart ass. Than they will make an example out of you. What these guys ( Shaun and WildMan) should point out. Not all prisons are the same. You can lone wolf it in most prisons. General rules still apply. Put it this way. If you're white. Don't go to prison, stay out of trouble. Not many options for us there. Unless you're a biker(they kind of stick together) but than again, a lot of bikers are either ABs or skinheads. So you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. if you facing a ton of years...you kind of have no choice but to click up with these fucking animals. Survive #1, use your fucking brain, cover up your racist tattoos when you get out..and never..go back in.

Ppl have died and guess what nobody ever knew, you have to ask a guard for toilet paper you have no rights that's why it's prison bud

Johnny Wadsworth right now in the Orange County jail system in OC, California there is a hunger strike going on and has been for several months. Due to inmates protesting the way the cops are mistreating everyone. Ive never been in OC county jail before, but I have been in both Los Angeles county jail as well as Riverside county. L.A. county was alot worse! Riverside sucked but it was better than LA CJ and Wayside.

Harbinger of the apocalypse no... these tats are like your rep, you need permission from higher ups in the gangs to get your tats, but the tats the guy had weren't the same color as the ink they had in prison so it would be harder to cover up. and to MrSparkle, I doubt they'd allow that. After getting that tat without permission any work he does would be considered compensation, only repenting for his crime, not justifying it. That's my opinion anyway.

Because the gangs own certain symbols inside. If you come in with a shamrock tat, it doesn't matter if you were born in Dublin, that's an AB brand and they'll make you cover it up. Refuse it and it'll get cut out. It's a bit like joining the Marines and getting an Eagle, Globe & Anchor tat before you go. You haven't earned the right to wear that.

Most of the time the are put in protective custody because they don't want to get sued if someone hurt them.

Dan Rowe famous people and celebrities like OJ simpson, Robert Downey Jr, etc are usually put in PC (Protective Custody) unless they request to be in G.P. (General Population) unless they are facing sex charges, rape, molestation cases, etc. Those charges guarrantee that youll be placed in PC. Because the cops cannot put sex offenders or people charged with sex crimes on a cell or dorm that is designated G.P. because if they do, someone in there will try to kill them. They cannot put rapos and choemoes in with the rest of us, or they will be killed. So sex offenders are in PC they only come into contact with other sex offenders. They are transported on separate buses to and from court, and housed with others like them.

I'm no expert, but I think the only ideological group that stick together you find would be Muslims. HMP actually introduced a policy of distributing Muslims as far as possible across the country, as there would be so many in places like belmarsh & Winson green that they had too much power as a group. I know someone who got moved from the Midlands to Scotland, so far that his wife and kids could no longer visit.

dfpguitar I know a few people who have been in and out of Winson Green who have pretty much said this, however in the U.K. gangs aren’t race affiliated
