Qantas has pretty much covered everything in their new wide body fleet ranging from 787-9 to A350-1000. Not to much “trouble” to switch different aircraft’s around their network, something that is more or less impossible with their current A380
@Dan.d649

The Boeing 787-10 and the Airbus A350 fit perfectly into the Qantas fleet. The airline is very satisfied with these two airplanes, and plans to replace the A330-300s, and also may have to retire some A380s as well.

I feel as though they ordered more a350s simply bc they are going to want to replace their a380s, and they’d rather get rid of them sooner than later, further more the 787-10 will be the long term solution for the a330 replacement.
@syc9675
@syc9675 Год назад
Great news. The time for replacement for a330s are long overdue. I haven’t flown on a Qantas A330 for years but the cabin has become stale. The 787-10s are the best replacement for A330. Currently the BNE-LAX route uses an A330-200 but that will change. I think a 787 will return on the route. But I think the 789 will be used for this route. 78X might not have enough range to fly to LA non-stop. Qantas 78X will more likely used for Asia routes, as well as NZ routes, etc.

My favorite next-generation wide-body aircraft is the Airbus A330neo because of its 2-4-2 Economy Class seat configuration, which is different from the 3-3-3 configuration of the Airbus A350 XWB and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the 3-4-3 configuration of the Boeing 777X. It’s very difficult to look at your videos, you are so completely biased. Nothing you say, is really ever fair.. you’re biased against Boeing is so ridiculously obvious. You give short change to your earlier report of Qantas’s much larger purchase of 787 and weep with joy over the smaller A350 purchase. It’s hard to take anything serious. If you’re going to do reports like this, you really need to be non-biased. You need to report the news and let your viewers decide whether an airline’s choice was a good one or bad one. However, if your being paid by airbus go ahead and keep doing what you do!
