W pod. Solid takes. I’m going back to watch more film on Rattler after the Caleb comp but a trade up for Maye/JD5 is the move or if we must…take WR at 6 then trade back up for Penix. A top-tier QB1 prospect on a rookie salary frees up mucho cap space for roster-building once we yeet allergic-to-TD’s DJ and his bloated contract he’s not equipped to EVER live up to…not to mention the ‘25 injury guarantee! Schoen built a 2-year out into sus DJ’s near Mahomes-level contract for a reason. Schoen been eyeing [these] QB’s bro👀🍿💯

Idk if I’ve commented this before but JJ was working on his deep ball. It’s very evident in his pro day. The stride is very different.

I think the processing can be learned. It's more a question of how. Some guys can get it on one play in practice. Others from grinding film non-stop. I'm shocked the VR headset has not been implemented across the board in the league already. It's improved Tua tremendously.

Not really. If a QB hasn't figured out how to quickly evaluate the D pre and post snap and be able to predict whe a wr will come open given coverage and be able to progress through 3 reads after playing for 10 years they aren't picking it up when they get to nfl and have to learn a more complex play book and and play linguistics and faster D. If not seen in college it's rare to pick up in nfl. Accuracy and processing are usually just slightly improved in nfl. Josh Allen is the exception not the rule.

I'm telling you, JJ McCarthy will be a better pro than several of these dudes. Watching a "limited" amount of throws and plays on tape isn't JJ's fault in the system he played in. Go back and watch, really watch the kid. We'll see soon enough.

I watched every JJ throw...I like what I see a lot. Still inconsistent with his deep ball and touch/trajectory over the MOF.

This guy says he doesn't see anything elite when it comes to JJ? Talk about hyperbole! I'm sorry, but an average QB doesn't have a 27-1 college record with a chip. Not to mention a high school state & national title. I've noticed that these evaluators either overhype JJ or, in this case, totally shit on him. No wonder we see such a low QB success rate in the league. These so-called evalutors are part of the problem.
