watching lin dan's footwork makes it look like china redefining skills of court covering,he is flowing in the court,with least energy consumption he converts subtlety into leisurely.

Why are you complaining. Here's a free HD Quality video of proffesional badminton and you complain? Don't like the commentator turn off the sound. Gillian Clark is a good commentator, The other guy might not be the best, But I don't see any reason to complain.

@Rzaoutlaw It's a Wilson, I think the BLX. Also used by Jonas Rasmussen and Shintaro Ikeda, I think - other than that, no user I can think of. Way too expensive imop.

few reasons, change of phase, for both players, or a time to rest, like in basketball couch call time, depends on the situation of the game. hope that helps.

sho sasaki has alot of power but lacks speed in footwork... he should smash more and less crosscourt drops coz its hard for him to retrieve.. he can afford to lift more cos his defense is solid

30:10 Umpire overruled the call in favour of Lin Dan. The shuttle can be seen to be out from the replay. The umpire cannot really see clearly whether it is in from her angle yet she still overruled in favour of LD...

No she called fault, cause in her opinion Sasaki touched the shuttle before it went out. That's why Lin Dan got the point.

i think the sasaki plays with a kind of robotic style if you know what i mean...... as if he is not very fluent or something if you know what i mean.... but obviously he would beat me like 21.0 but i dun know his technique is not "flowing".... but respect!!!

the commentator said warm up when they were stroking at the start of 2nd set. is he kidding me? there's no such thing as warm up. they stroke only because lin dan changed racket.

Sasaki looks a bit "awkward" in his movements, i don't know how to explain it, but to me he doesn"t seems as "gracious" or as "fluent" than Lin Dan or other players as well.

No professional players will 'give' opponent smashing opportunity. Only amateurs do that. The opponent gets to smash because the player was forced to lift the shuttle. In other words, he is just not as good and as fast as lin dan, that's why he has to lift.

compared to veteran female comentator (gillian clark-which herself is also a former badminton athlete)... one of the male comentator is so much inferior.. with all respect maybe he can play badminton very well (just maybe), but his comment is boring and sounds like he doesnt know badminton
