I'd love you to join me in my FREE 3-part video Qigong series which you can find here: spacetorelax.com/free-qigong-video-series/. Thanks so much for supporting my channel by watching this video.🙏🥰
Hi Linda, this was more of an educational video but if you look in the description text you'll find links to some practical routines. If you can let me know where your nerve pain is located I can also give you a link to the most appropriate routine which can be of help to you. Best wishes, Janice.
There are many back exercises which can help nerve pain Jane. This is a good one: spacetorelax.com/lesson-11-qigong-for-back-problems-replay-of-live-qigong-class/. It's not specific to nerve pain but could help you. Best wishes, Janice.
This is not specific to your requested topic but should help as it will create conditions for open and free flow of Qi throughout the whole hip joint and lower back but take care not to over-extend. Best wishes, Janice. spacetorelax.com/qigong-for-hip-pain/
Hi Jon, All the movements in my free online series of video lessons will help you. As all Qigong exercises help to promote the free flow of Qi they will all help to some degree so it's worth trying the free course if you haven't already. Enjoy!
Jon, I'm in the same boat - idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. I found my way to qigong over 4 years ago and practice daily. No miracles yet but I still study/learn as much as I can and fully enjoy the practice. Have you done acupuncture? One MD in pain mgt./acupuncture helped me with the shooting pains that developed in year 3 and confirmed that qigong was powerful. I'm still amazed that most doctors & specialists only prescribe Rx meds. All the best. Glad to share my resources. Where do you live? I'm in NE Ohio - US.
Harold, I'm delighted that you are practising Qigong and, as a practitioner of Chinese medicine and acupuncture, would agree that acupunture can be very helpful although it isn't quick when dealing with this condition. Definitely worth being patient and availaing of a course of treatment. I wish both you and Jon all the best and hope that things improve for you both healthwise. Best wishes, Janice.
Was actually looking for qigong exercises for nerve pain. The linked videos are concentrated on breathing exercises. No where are there exercises for nerve pain
Hi Beryl, when you are breathing using Qigong this helps to create conditions for open and free flow of Qi and blood throughout the whole body, nerves included. This is fundamental to all Qigong practice and circulation in all areas of the body. Nerve pain, in Qigong terms, is due to lack of flow of Qi through the area. If we can open this up then we can help to reduce pain and heal the area concerned. I hope that helps. Warm wishes, Janice.
@@JaniceSpaceToRelaxQigong Thank you for your enlightening and consoling reply. I am doing breathing exercises but didn't know this covered the nerve problem too. Thank you again
@@berylmendes5560 you are so welcome. Also what you can do is work with specific physical Qigong exercises to help promote flow through the area. If you can let me know which area is affected then I can send you to the appropriate exercise. Best wishes, Janice.
@@JaniceSpaceToRelaxQigong Thank you for your help. The pain is actually a post Shingles pain which has been there for over 3 weeks ie after the area has been clear of the rash. The area of pain is on the right side rib area right past under the arm to the back on the right side....sometimes the pain is excruciating and I just don't know what to do. I do however take one capsule Pregabalin and Methylcobalamin (PREGABA M-75) everyday. I do take a painkiller when the pain is severe. Thank you ever so much for your kind help
I'm so sorry to hear that Beryl. Often shingles in Chinese medicine and Qigong terms is to do with Liver heat and/or Spleen deficiency with Dampness. The following two Qigong routines may be of help to you but I would also suggest you might consider acupuncture/Chinese herbal medicine which can be very helpful in managing post shingles pain. Liver cleansing: spacetorelax.com/lesson-29-liver-cleansing-qigong-exercises-replay-of-live-qigong-class/. Spleen health: spacetorelax.com/lesson-68-qigong-exercises-for-spleen-and-stomach/
your info is good to introduce and market your services, but the title gives expectation for a little qigong demo to release nerve pain. Bummer, now, I have no time to go to links......
Sorry to hear that Gloria. Anything you can do Qigong wise to help with circulation to the feet in general will hopefully be of help to you. Are you able to perform the exercises in this video: spacetorelax.com/lesson-16-qigong-for-feet-and-ankles-replay-of-live-qigong-class/. If so then you might find it helpful. Best wishes, Janice.
