Kendall still hates Greg for switching side to Logan last season even call him "Snitch Bitch" But, he realizes that Greg never takes side with anyone so he lets Greg as his wild card. Tom also notices that and that's why he keeps Greg in the end.

I think Greg's intelligence is overrated, it's true that since the beginning of the season he has become more self-confident but that hasn't led to anything so far. Let's see what happens in the next episodes.
@@Hatem_Mo he’s trying. It’s interesting to see him pivot from season to season and this is his endgame. Based on the posters it’s clear he will betray Tom and befriend Roman and Shiv. It’s strange I first kind of cringed at the show and specifically Greg but his path is one of the ones I’m most interested in because it seems whenever he makes a lead someone else immediately the next scene gets screwed.
Love how Greg consistently awkwardly asks for the most. First with popping out the woodworks to ask uncle Logan for a high paying job then ask to head a whole theme park division now "hey guys now that uncle Logan died let me know what WE're gonna sell it for" and he likely wasn't on anyones invite list the entire time. Truly a kid braver than me when I won't even ask a family member to lend me money lol.
The fact that Greg's arrival coincided with the very first episode of the show tells me there's a significance to him we're yet to see. I'm not saying he's a sleeper agent or something wild, but just this odd feeling like he's got to play a bigger role in terms of the final episodes than comedic relief. It would be kinda brilliant if he was the one that came out on top.

Theory. At Logan's will reading he's gonna give everything to Greg and controlling interest of way star as well, as a final fuck you to his kids. That shit would be hilarious
Greg can't be the CEO because he has social anxiety issue and he mostly a sneaky guy who can't be trusted as he mostly play double sides. Also, he's part of nepo baby because he's Logan's grand nephew. He is as worst as the other Roys except he's way independent, starting from the bottom and works hard.
Shower thought. Greg CEO as figure head, with old guard, Frank Carl and Gerri running the show. The sibling prob can’t handle it. Maybe Kendall but he has farther to go
