QuadGrade Sonic on SharpGrade HD2.2(7') laser grader 

SharpGrade HD 2.2 (7') on Kubota SVL95 using QuadGrade Sonic in ground mode to grade match a surface in OR. The QuadGrade Sonic can maintain an elevation in relation to a string line, concrete form work or grade match to a flat surface. It will maintain a cross slope in relation to the elevation. The cross slope can be adjusted or inverted on the fly and is controlled by a Gyro-Stabilized slope sensor mounted in the centre of the blade. The Sonic tracker may be added to a standard QuadGrade 2D laser control system at any time. It is plug and play. The QuadGrade guides the operator when in string mode and has 150mm (6") of freedom L&R from the string without affecting elevation
In this video the operator is match grading from the graded surface to transfer the grade away from the kerb. The initial grade was set in relation to the kerb lip. QuadGrade Sonic is a very efficient method to prepare kerb & gutter, driveways, cycle ways etc. Due to the patented QuadRod linkage, the QuadGrade Sonic can be fitted to either side of a SharpGrade .
