I don't understand why people are against the Royal Family. The Queen is a wonderful head of state & she does a lot for the country. Even without all her responsibilities the Royal Family generate a lot of money for the UK through tourism. People being negative towards her majesty never mind who is, the woman is 86 years old so have some respect! God Save the Queen and her consort, Prince Philip!

Loved your comment. Made me laugh out loud. It's what is known as a 'feu de joie' (a joyful fire) and was traditionally fired by the victorious side after a battle. Now it is reserved for great occasions when the tone is joy rather than victory. Really loved that comment!

how offensive and idiotic to refer to the Queen in such a derogatory way; it is beyond all decency; wherever you are from, whatever your personal views, do not refer to our Queen in such a manner; She, unlike other "leaders" around the World, has remained steadfast and honourable in Her service to us, Her people, and to the entire World for that matter.

Sir , please read your history , if Arthur ever existed then he was a war leader of the Britons . He was a Celt , descended from the people who nowadays occupy Wales . The Queen of England is descended from the Anglo Saxons who were Germanic tribes who invaded Briton in the 5th century . Arthur has nothing in common with the English exept as enemies

I do not have knowledge of any kings or queens I just stated one random king. This was to say that the queen sits on her wealth due to ancient conquers of people who just lived at their home, and where suddenly attacked.

That is true she does stand with elegance and she is an example of poise. Just one question, how has she been able to stand like that? Maybe because her fellow rulers have taken all they have ever wanted from the rest of the world. Shameful and you therefore can not walk with pride.

Secondly, the queen and royal family do have jobs- they are fantastic ambassadors for our country and have many other roles and responsibilities, that all bring in income for themselves and our country.I could continue ranting about the sheer ignorance of your comment, however i shall stop!

Wow ambassador of a country wow that is truly a job. Can I study for that?? lmao Roles and responsibilities such as sit down, go to sleep , eat with fork and spoon, parade on a boat. Wow that must be hard they better pay her enough so she can accomplish all that. Way to go queen Brits must be thankful for bringing all the income. It very easy my friend. There are many reasons. However the most important one for me is the fact that all the wealth that is needed to support her or the lousy parade could maybe buy half of Africa or South America or Asia. All that money is just for one person who is as human made of flesh and bones as me and you to look at the world from a royal seat and crown. We are in 2012 lets get over king Arthur already Mr Chelsea my friend.
